FANNY BLOODY TANSTIC MATE. Thats exactly what I needed Alex. Thanks to you both now i am aware :bow: +7 = 14psi and 1 bar of boost I understand what Macca is going on about now when he says what boost he is getting. i have always felt a little bit left out when i see post of this nature. Dumb nuts question now...... If you was running +14 on an after market boost gauge then would that equate to 28 psi and 2 bar? or is it not as simple as that mate? :bow:

Yes Paul but your opinions (mods not you personally) are obviously not the same as most people on the forum. Therefore it becomes "policing" and that takes away the rights of the majority. This subject will never be resolved with banter. It has to be put to the vote.

Cheers Andy. Thats my problem I dont know much about keeping them in balance. If say my boost gauge is reading +7 and my foot is on the floor what PSi should I be at? thats the sort of question my mind keeps asking. I aint thick but want to learn more of the technical things so as I can get the most from my car. I must say that after all the crap lately about Drivel posts and this forum lacking in the fundamentals of 300ZX talk and advice the response to my question has been rather poor what with the amount of experts the site boasts. :headvswal But thanks for your input mate.

IMO. I think the removal of the post count would illiminate most of the bad threads so there is good reason for this. It has been metioned before. I still say we put it to the vote in a poll on the memebers area an open poll. Infact i'm going to start one right now. I believe I am allowed to do so if I please?

..........I have learned a whole lot of facts about the 300ZX since I joined the forum and thanks to all for that but my curiosity is boiling over now and I need educating further please: Can someone give me a simple way to let me know exactly what boost to PSi is and how this is calculated maybe a comparison chart and what effects all this has on the performance of the car. Thanks. I know that boost is generated by the turbo's and that PSi i a measurement of pressure and the more you get the more power you generate. But thats just the basic effect not the facts of how it works. BTW. I posted it here by mistake...... :eek: :(

I think it should be put to a vote. The commitee do a fine job no doubt but the paying members should have a say in this matter and maybe a poll introduced in the members only section if they should be banned or not. OK clean it up but not ban it? The poll should also be an open poll so as to stop stupidity. After all this is a club aswell? and we do pay for that privilege. I hope this dont end up with me in the pool at the JAE. its only my opinion.

I have got sky plus and need to get the module that allows you to conect the tele/video to your computer and record to the hard drive. but it is saved. I havent watched it but know it was all about ferrari's porche's and a mention of the Chevvy. Not sure if they will mention the 300ZX tho?
