Hi Pete. I am working in Carlilse saturday and sunday and Blackburn for the rest of the week. I will be in the Van but will come along anyway. I will travel down from Carlilse on Monday I was going to have a gander at windermere for something to do in the afternoon and get there about 7ish. You say they do grub there? thats me dinner sorted then. I dont have to start work until half midnight so plenty of time to meet a few peeps I havent met yet. :duffer:

I have just ordered a program that is supposed to be very easy to use to edit videos and it allows you to drag and drop stills into video aswell. when it arrives at the end of the month I will have a look and if its as easy and good as they say I will probably do a copy for you Si. My 300 is off the road on SORN ATM. I was wondering if any long term owners know of any symptoms that the car may suffer from being stood for around 6 months and is there a proceedure to follow to prevent any adverse affects. I start the car twice weekly and let it run for about 20 mins each time.

I made a few enquiries last year but as I am only a skilled Railway Signal Technician they said that my points would not be good enough to be considered so I sort of gave up? I have for a long time now been thinking of moving to Australia or New Zealand. It seems like an impossibility though. My trade is not something they seem to have any interest in over there. Then I hear a DJ on Talk Sport the other night saying that Australia are looking for people to emigrate out there. I have done a few searches but to no avail. Does anyone on here have any good info about this subject. I know we are a varied source of information so fingers crossed...... Thanks Vince

To set the scene: I am in my Volvo (the van is broken) working in Nuneaton. I leave work at 04.00 hrs headed on the A444 towards the M6. A 3.0 Jag S type (black) passes me and the passenger gives me a smile I smile back and the Jag shoots off so I respond and set off after him. Up through the gears and I am with him all the way to 125 MPH then from out of the blue the rear window of the Jag suddenly is filled with blue flashing lights. I hit the brakes and he just carried on at the same speed. Phew! I feel lucky this morning. I would have paid £100 for a video of it tho'. Fair play to the cop for not nicking me. I bet a pound to a penny the pair of them were absolutely P155ing them selves. :bow: :duffer:

FACT. I was approached by as Asian gang a few years back whilst fishing. there were 8 of them aged between 14 and 18 I stood my ground and told them that even though I was out numbered I was taking at least 2 of them out 5 of them pulled blades from their pockets. I pulled my large fishing knife out and they turned away and went. My mate also got threatened with knives by a gang. They were all white lads. No it aint a black thing its a hooligan thing.

CRT HD TV is as good if not better than plasma and LED but obviously not as versatile because even tho its slim it is no where as slim as the others and it would be difficult to hang it on the wall but the picture is spot on. Blue ray or whatever is the technology that the PS3 is going to be using but going by what I have read its going to be a 2 minute wonder?????? Really tho how good can a picture be?
