because the obvious diverent drive train My old n/a was alot quicker than the calibra ,thats why I bought the red twin turbo,because i wanted more power,lol,the nissan has won me over ,I wished that I had kept the N/A as it was a manual,but I had to have the twin turbo ,lol

yes mate it was all done in the layby,lol,crazy I know but i had another calibra in the garden aswell so i couldnt do it in there,and it was done in november,not by choice as the 16v engine blew up and at the time it was the only car that was on the road at the time, I had all intention of doing it in the summer but plans had to be changed,lol, so when i get all the bits together for my tt, it will be getting similer atention,my misses thinks I'm mad I just say its either a mistress or a car so she puts up with the cars.lol

once i had the interior sorted out I then started on the outside and i got my hand on a genuine rieger kit for my car it needed some repair but i got it done and I painted it and this is how it finished up before i sold it and i sold it for this

I ten got bored with the black leather and i bought a nice 8v calibra for the creame leather and then i bought some vectra metal cam covers instead of the plastic calibra ones I got bored again and I used the clothe interiors velour bottom door cards and replaced the black vinyl bottoms for the velour ones with the leather creame tops here a few random shots

so I bought this because of this(a BIG hole) so That was it the v6 conversion started ,here I am taking the doner engine out the spare car also comes in handy as a shed,lol while i was taking both engines out I started to replace all the looms, I did this because instead of having on loom butcherd into the 16v body loom, I transplanted the body looms aswell,so it was done properly first night that the engine was put in and started and I decided to clean it up a bit

Apart from the love affair with the zed I also have a weakness for calibra'sI started off with a 16v redtop(c20xe) on a H plate but I went through a few I bought thgis one a 93 on the l plate this is how I bought her ,no tax,mot and looking very poor she didnt stay that way for long,I got her home,and started to bring her back up to a much more presentable apearance I removed the old clothe interior and fitted in the leather I lowerd it by 40mm,fitted the remus exhaust system and my O.Z Super,t's,untill the engine decided to go bang so i bought a v6 calibra with a good engine but poor body but before the engine conversion i fitted in the Astra GTE dash so i was running around with it like this for a wee while and as i said the engine went bang and threw a conrod

Most of the Gsi vectra's have the 2.5 wth 3.0 g cams that is why they have the 192bhp,the 2.6's do away with the egr set up and they only produce 180bhp,but the give a higher torque figure than the Gsi set up, and they pull better than the 2.5 gsi's just a little but they pull away from the 2.5's It is just that the 2.6 is rarer than the 2.5

The v6 was supposed to have 167bhp,but what we found was they were all around 180/183,bhp and some were producing 192, and that was a standard engine with no mods,the reason I put the v6 in as it was a good all rounder and mine was fettled a little the best engine in the vauxhall range and the rarest was the 2.6,as it has better tourque ,it even matches the 3.0,v6 the c20let (turbo)has 204bhp as you have said mate I have seen a few giving 350 reliable bhp,but if you go above the 350 mark the start to give you problems. And i will sort out all the piccies of both conversions,and I will put a thread up about them :thumbup1:

at the end of the month,I am going to get some bits and bobs for the zed,these are a boost gauge ,but i was wondering should i go for one that shows the pressure in psi,or bar? and where would i get a good chip for the ecu,my car is an auto,so would i have to get an auto specific chip? so this month I will be busy,with the chip,boost gauge and the series 4 spoiler from jap.slapper,I take it there is no difference between the lwb,&swb spoilers?

On a zed none,on a calibra lots done a full conversion from a redtop to a v6,full body strip and rebuild and made a convertable rearwheel drive calibra aswell .I have lots of picture's

Lol,on a BMW with a colour change which is relatively quite a young car like t5hat one is i would suspect something was wrong dodgey about it,either a right off or a ringer ,The bloke probably got it as a bargain,rubbed his hands together thinking that he got a bargain,and with all the excitement didnt think to look

I would say it was aimed at north of england as if it was Aimed at us scotts,he would've said jock Bar stewerd,and more to the point,it is his own fault for not having a good look at the car before he handed over the cash so he is a southern monkey for not doing the checks in the first place,lol:smartass:

Lol +1 on that one,The only reason the supra has the following is because of the film Fast&furios,but if you watch the end credits the 300zx rear centre panel is in there,shouldve made the zed the main car of the film and not the pig:whistling:

No time for idiots like that,even though I have dyslexia, I have 7 O"levels and a Higher in art,so I May have Issue's with my spelling,I at least managed to get some qualifications,even though I had my disability, and in generall you should never judge a book by its cover as you never know,lol :gun_bandana:

So what if someone suffers from dyslexia ,like I do they would chastise them for poor spelling????????? thats shocking, that is discrimanation,theres another reason why I am so glad I drive the zed,and I dont care what other folke think about me driving a zed .I like them so I will drive one ,lol:yes:

Strange requist I know but as with most motor manufacturers,Nissan must use generic parts through out there range.This will include the 300zx ,so there must be parts on the zx that cross over from other models in the range, and I am trying to compile a list of these parts that will cross over from all through out the Nissan range that can fit the 300xz,for instance the heater matrix from the P10 Primera,will fit the zx,there has to be more items. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it Many Thanks in advance
