yes you can plays movies without umd a program called imtoopsp converts any film into psp files and then you save it to the memory card. i do have the program and it does work when my internet is sorted i will post it up

i think the flexi socket they say is a wobbler socket they can move side to side to help get in to hard places normal socket is square and the flexi is like a triangle letting the socket move. this is what i think they mean i could be wrong
