between me and my family 6 of us we have had 6 broke xboxs and 2 ps3, the xbox is a pain in the @rse breaking every 5 min but MS replaced every single one for free, sony did want £150 to fix he ps3. i think sony have mess up this generation up, the ps3 is a great system but sony tried screwing everyone over and have now lost the market to nintendo (with a revamped gamecube).

there was a guy who done this for his wife on a mini and could not get insurance

as for games IMO the 360 hands down, forget GT5 it will be over hyped rubbish like prolouge,the last one and FFXIII, i had a ps3 on day 1 and sold it a year later due to all the exclusive games been pants. then got a slim last year and again it is now been sold. maybe for me its cause i have both consoles and the exclusive games that "should" intrest me dont (apart from uncharted 1 & 2 they are brill) and 9/10 the 360 version is better, but i think the tide might turn on this but the new xbox cant be too far away. so watch this space cause my ps3 slim is up for sale this weekend

i would also get a GTR over those, as i like a car thats an underdog and looked down at (like a few "nissan" posts above) but when you thrash all of the above, in your "nissan/datsun" its a hell of a buzz. if not it would be the lambo, but i wouldn't be looking at those cars if it was me choosing

thanks for all guys big thanks to John for the disks. anyway all done now but not sure what was wrong still, anyway a mate brought another hard drive that works. so again i try to install xp and it loads the kerrnal files, then says starting windows and i get the BSOD again, so i took the old HD and put it in my tower to try and do it that way and it did. i dont have a clue why it wouldn't do this on the acer with either drive but the laptop is running fine now

i was well into SE too from the t68i days (must of had close to 20 SE phones) i was hooked with there ease of use and packed full of features. but imo they lost there way about 2 years ago and reviews showed this too and for me the X1 was the last straw. after the massive hype, then massive let down (i never got the iphone cause i was waiting for the X1 ATT) and now it would have to be one hell of a phone for me to go back

use it first, because the same thing was said about the X1 and i was so looking forward to it but it wasn't that good and flopped. it had such great potential but this one is suppose to correct that and ditching windows is a move in the right direction

i have tried the F10 recovery it starts to recover then fails, i need some sort of disk that well format everything straight away so i can then put windows on after. that would be great im out of ideas:thumbdown:

no i haven't. there seems to be like 7 or 8 partitions and i cant seem to delete them, i have looked to get a format disk for usb but cant find anything or a recovery disk

i have the laptop and tried to install windows from the usb but as soon as it says starting windows (to install on blue screen) i get the blue screen of death i have tried all sorts and nothing i think it has a virus i have tried to find info to format it but everyone says use the windows disk but i cant get that far HELP!!!!
