Are you sure that none of the lines are broken, check to see all the de misting lines are intact and that the connections on the sides are connected properly. If the lines are broken you can get a paint (Most motor spares shops)you just join the lines together with. HTH

Excuse my ignorance, but whats the difference in normal tropical fish and feshwater (acidic) ??

I must have mounted my HKS Filter differently to anybody elses as I can belt it hell for leather in rainy weather and my car performs excellently, I also have no splash guard :confused: I am really impressed with my HKS filter and will not swao it for anything. Maybe I am just a lucky fooker.

I have a new tropical tank and I asked the guy behind the counter how easy it was to keep marine? he said you need to wait about 6 months for the water to be perfect, and the fish can be a lot more money (so if they die you will cry) as for water changes they are a lot more frequent than tropical. He also mentioned its like a full time job keeping an eye on the fish as they are a lot more prone to diseases. HTH

I would say that the amount of money SgtC has put into that car its not likely to go wrong for a very long time IMO at least by then you would have saved up some pennies and just think there is nothing that you need to do to it that has not been done already, so it is saving you money.
