  1. I had a Capri loan car from a dodgy garage where I bought an even more dodgy celica gt4. It was hand painted lime green with a ridiculously loud exhaust. I was a mobile beautician in posh stockport at the time and I think it cost me a couple of clients who didn't like it parked outside their houses but I loved it. Cost a fortune in petrol tho, made the celica seem economical!!
  2. Think I will be there! :)
  3. I've turned over to xmen! Can check how woefully we are doing in the adverts
  4. Yeah. We had a bimble out to the cashpoint the other night. Got back n the central locking has stopped working. At least I've got some cash to get it sorted and I can slum it in the mx5!!
  5. Yeah. We've gotta bob out to the cash point. There's a really nice one about 10 miles away!!
  6. Might be better looking at the canaries?
  7. I've got an mx5. It's great, I love it. Was sposed to get something sensible as a daily driver but nevermind eh
  8. Usually when I'm driving a train, I finish up humming along to coward of the county. Annoying if you are going to Blackpool and its going round your head for over an hour!!
  9. Ooh. All the horror comes flooding back! Might buy this just so I can bounce it down the stairs too!! £20 well spent
  10. A misguided aunt bought me a doll called tippi tumbles one year. Some awful (but expensive) thing that did handstands and forward rolls. It gave me nightmares so one day I made her 'tippi tumble' down the stairs. Heh! Back to my dinky toys like normal girls!!
  11. It also has a hdmi on it
  12. Computery other half says if you're doing video editing go for nvidia rather than ati. On balance, nvidia is slightly more expensive than ati. Go for something with 2gb of onboard DDR . GeForce gt520 is about £50
  13. Im a girl. I've got a male gay friend so it must all be true!!!
  14. Poor luv! Take it easy

  21. Not a turbo, but how about a celica t sport? It's quick, reliable, practical, looks good and prices are really coming down. The power comes in at higher revs. Just have to push it a bit harder!!
  22. I think you should all try waxing. I only smarts for a minute.... Honest!! :scared:
  23. We've got a couple of em kicking about. Might have to raid my other halfs 'nerdy computery stuff' collection if they are worth money!! I remember the days, sitting for ages for the tape to load, only to have it fail and having to start all over again :(
  24. You would be highly dischuffed if your nice new shiny bonnet had been delivered to the owner of the wheels instead and he plonked it on eBay!!
  25. Congratulations!!
