  4. I will try to get to this again, but I'm not sure where my Id is. I hope they can tell us apart!!!
  5. No, just mud- honest! He then promptly jumped on the wall and nearly scarpered till the keeper grabbed him!!! There was also a baby meerkat and lemurs, well cute!
  6. It was at the Lake District wildlife park. £30 for an hour grooming tapirs and feeding the lemurs and meerkats, including admission. The staff are lovely too. They do other packages.
  7. You've not lived till you've had a lemur sit on your head!!
  8. My friend n I had a great time yesterday playing at being zookeepers! Came home covered in mud and half chewed melon but we're not exactly sophisticated. Highly recommended!!
  9. Gonna have to brush up on your coffee making skills to come up to Lynda's standard!
  10. All the best for the future- now get out there and enjoy yourself!
  11. Hope you get it sorted without too many traumas, whatever it is :-/
  12. Yeah. I'm off to st Ives!! Nearly everywhere is fully booked now tho.
  13. Booked a few days away in Cornwall in a couple of weeks. Thought I'd try some of those websites like Expedia etc. for the hotel I found they all came up with a similar price - £160 a night. (Aren't British hotels expensive!!) I wanted to check something so I phoned the hotel direct and finished up booking with them for only £130 a night. No haggling or anything!! Just shows, sometimes, these cheap websites can finish up costing you money!!
  14. Wow- she looks gorgeous!!
  15. We weren't lost. We were just going an alternative route in the wrong direction!!
  16. Round our way, only the council are allowed to drop a kerb, at £400 per kerbstone width. Ouch. Cost us more to do the kerb than to lay a new double drive!
  17. We were saying today there seems to be a lot of members around Manchester but not many go to the meets. Will be great if we can get a bit more active!! And nothing is better for motivating people than a really good bacon butty!! See you next time .
  18. Well, that was a very nice way to spend a Sunday!! Thanks to Ian for organising it and to his sister for the luvly food!!
  19. I do notice a lot of women drivers drive like they have something to prove. I will stand up for myself when I'm out and about. I can't stand queue jumpers and woe betide anybody who doesn't say thank you when I've been lovely and let them go 1st.
  20. I'm coming!!
  21. My friend wanted a 207. We went to look at several of them. All a bit older than the one shown and the hatchback, but all low mileage, fsh etc. in every case the paintwork had issues and the body trim was deteriorating. Don't think they will age very well unless the build quality is better on the cab.
  22. If some bright sparks want's to start a FOTM (fault of the month) poll can I enter my car for June please, I think I'm in with a good chance here :clown: Yeah! Hopefully you will win some car cleaning stuff and you can bob round n clean mine - not parking behind you again!!
