  1. Mines 1994 UK auto tt so I'm guessing second gen
  2. OK so will skyline injectors work? As there's loads of them for sale lol
  3. Hi all I'm after some 555's to push her to around the 400 mark what do people use? I've been looking at the rc's as that's what I have in the civic but what exact injectors do I need? High impedance, low impedance, side feed etc... Also what make do you guys recommend? Cheers Nick
  4. I feel a claim coming on she's probably got the no win no fee vulchers circling already, I reckon the problem is petrol is so readily available that people forget just how volatile it really is, I read somewhere that most fires caused on petrol forecourts aren't caused by phones or smoking but by static electrisity discharging from you to the cars bodywork as you fill the tank. Moral of the story get a leather interior and you have less chance of being bunt to death or at least that's 1 more excuse to tell the Mrs when she asks why you just spent more on a leather re-trim than on the rent this month lol
  5. I'm not sure about the zed but there are usually a couple of spare slots in the fuse box could try looking for one and poping in a 15amp fuse??
  6. Don't see why not, i just don't like playing with the stock fuse box, if I were fitting a few electrical extras I'd think about putting an aux fuse box might be something worth considering for ice/boost controllers etc...
  7. I'd just take it strait from the batt and put a 15amp fuse in the line ( as close to the batt as poss) run the cable through to the door and jobs a good un it saves tampering with existing wiring and you'll know for sure it won't overload anything
  8. Sad, but on a lighter note I like the way even the professional darts corporation are using hash tags these days
  9. Not sure if anyone will be able to help, im gonna be after some 99 spec rear lights at some time soon and I'm probably gonna just get them direct from Nissan if I can so does anyone have a part number for them??? Cheers Nick
  10. Can you put a turbo ecu in an n/a car? Coz that's silly rich for an n/a 7.5 is rich even for a turbo car!!! Then leans up like crazy at the top end, looks like someone's had a crack at mapping it at home lol
  11. If I were you I'd steer well clear of a cheap tt you really would be asking for trouble, keep yours for a while longer and save to buy a decent tt, big Jims asking 2k for his which seems like a fair price for a good condition manual n/a although his is quite rare Anywere from 1500-2000 would be reasonable imo
  12. Hi mate bigjim is selling a cracking looking n/a manual for 2k definitely worth a look imo!!
  13. Properly stunning zed they don't come any better than that imo
  14. If I were you I'd go for a custom map on nistune or similar with a proper boost controller and you'll probably need bigger injectors for much over 16 psi
  15. British museums a good day out, entry's free and there's oxford st round the corner for a bit of shopping then through soho, leister square for a drink then through to Trafalgar square then right for Buckingham Palace, left for covent garden or straight over for Westminster abbey and the houses of parliament all depends on what you want to see really
  16. What he said, don't think that these are cheap/easy to maintain most garages don't want to know if it's anything more than a service, they are heavy on fuel and repair bills can be frightening but if you love cars and driving in general the z32 will get you totaly hooked from the first turn of the key. But defiantly do your homework first and buy the best one you can afford as it will save you money in the long run. In my opinion if you want cheapish and reliable go for the n/a there's a whole lot less to go wrong and more space under the bonnet when they do, you won't get the same rush as the twin tubs but they definitely ain't no slouch and I'd guess would be slightly more wallet friendly at the pumps
  17. Could try fctuning steves a Nissan nut and he travels all over the place
  18. Awww my Mrs just melted lol, congrats to you and the Mrs fella!!!
  19. It's true I drove mine home a few weekends back and even though not even half the faults were sorted it felt like a happier car, and now they've have had a few weeks to go over the car it feels like all its xmases have come at once!!!! Lol, jamie and jeff really are the wizards of all things zed!
  20. Ooooh that'll be fun do the pulleys make much difference? I think I'm gonna find some 555s and when jeff does the next service he can pop them in hope the auto box is up to 400hp lol
  21. Mine nights gonna involve copieous amounts of guiness lol
  22. I can honestly say those guys will be the only mechanics to tinker with my car now, what you having done?
  23. Had cambelt done as someone put the old 1 on a tooth out, multiple boost leaks including a huge one at the back of the plenum, hicas ball joints changed, track rod ends and a zedworld chip with the boost set at 15psi with the boost controller. It really is a different car its difficult to distinguish the change in power as I haven't driven it in 2 weeks but it's really smooth and progressive it used to feel like it had a flat spot at 4k now it just revs soooo much more cleanly and picks up speed like crazy
  24. Just got back and I'm chuffed, the car idles rock steady and pulls so much more cleanly through the gears I it feels quicker and more responsive and uses noticeably less fuel it burnt 3/4 of a tank on the way up and under 1/2 a tank on the way back Massive thanks to all at zedworld highly recommended to anyone truly a top notch service
  25. Well it seems like forever (only 2 weeks) but I'm gonna head up to jeff and get my car back I'm getting all excited, it's had loads of work done and should feel like a different animal. I can't wait for the drive back even though it is almost all m'way, I'll drop a post when I'm back!!
