  1. That would make sense. Although my new tailgate lined up fine without adjustment needed :) Mystery solved :D
  2. yes, just looking at the pictures now (figure F). flick to the previous page to see the location http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=bf&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=9&design=default&total=46
  3. Not on mine i didnt mate. removed the stays, elevated the tailgate as far as it would go so you could see the bolts and used a ring/open ended spanner to undo them. didnt have to touch the roof lining.
  4. Its not a bad job at all. just take all the trim off its easier to feed the wiring through. bolts can be a ball ache to get in when putting the replacement back on so be careful not to cross thread them. More people you get to hold the thing still and upright the better ;)
  5. I thought the same when i did mine. you will need 2 people tho.
  6. neither mate. you can get to the bolts without removing the liner. Although 2 people will help and a broom to hold up the tailgate once you remove the weight holding bar type things :)
