Yes Mate, I am still about and Zed less like you. Have sent the Zed for MOT-New front discs pads-braided lines for the brakes. Auto box cooler fitting too. Also those tyres !! just had them delivered this morning. Then it's the PTU to fit when it comes from the States. Then the inside..... Yellow leather seats and trim to match..... :hyper: I will be in touch soon mate. Wheel :nana2:

Have just ordered two new rear tyres for the Zed ; else it won't get through the MOT. :cry: So I thought I would give the 'Tyres on line ' http://www.tyresonline.net/index.asp a go; after looking over the past threads covering tyres I went for Bridgestone SO2 N3; these are the Porker approved ones. Great price too. So watch this space for after they arrive and are fitted !! :dance: I want her back now the weather is nice !! :) Take a look at my journal soon for up dates !!!

That yellow Zed was mine with Gramae driving it; i was close behind in the Voyager. It did not like the driving rain into the filter !! we stopped on the M5 to re fit the standard one !! ran ok for some time then went a bit off again later ?? Dont know whats going on yet. :x: :x: Castle coombe.... see pics After being stuck in traffic for about an hour Gramae got my Zed into the circut and it was not running right ATall; we put it down to under bonnet heat i the jam ?? Then we had a nice afternoon and it was time to drift home Gramae went off and i was going to cath him up..... then had a call on the 2 way radio to say it had died o him :cry: He has asked me to thank the 'white van man' and other Zed owners that stopped before i caught him up. Turns out the big induction cone did not like the wet !! Then after we had changed it back to the orig air box on M5 services(stopped raining by then) :rofl: we got to the M54 and it did it again. Could it be the PTU? (S1 in it) think its going to have to be changed; any ideas guys :hyper: thanks. Any way we made it home to Shrewsbury...........Just :duffer:(tea needed!) Thanks again to all the guys it was a good turn out.

The trouble i have is its very hard to get to any engine parts from the wheel chair so my mate normally comes over to help, he has been busy this weekend so if you are in Shrewsbury it would be great to meet you mate :duffer: well do you a coffee/tea anyway :) I will pm you with my home No so you can just check i will be about. Thanks chap; The MPV is a Chrysler Grand Voyager LTD it was converted in Sweeden and has had the floor lowered by 30cms (to gain headroom) with a side ramp to get in with.I drive from the chair using standard push/pull hand controls;electronic hand brake and a control on the dash which enables me to do wipers/dip main lights/turn sigs/rear wash wipe and it goes on wont bore you :nono: As for driving the Zed; well thats a different kettle of zebras !! :p I can slide in using a 'sliding board' as it's all down hill; getting out using it; NO CHANCE. :smash: I have to use a portable hoist that i keep under the car port.So the problem i have is if i go out i have to stay in the Zed. If i make it to Japfest or Pod i will have to get my mate to drive the Zed, and i will follow in the Voyager :cry: Regards Marcus
