Thanks mate I know; some one will get a bargain ! Its been a good fun car and with the new 'fast road box' it goes great, just needs the rear spoiler sorting. It is still MOT'd now, so i think i will tax it this week as insurance runs out in about 8 days; then i can go for a blast to see if she's running ok still after being off the road over winter. I wont Baz, it just needs a little cosmetic work on the rear bumper (i have new one; needs spraying and fitting) I will be gutted to see it go; but i have a new gun to buy, and its going to cost about what the Zed is worth!! Regards Marcus :thumbup1:

I moved house last week and went to start the Zed(on the day we moved out) and gues what....fooking flat battery;1 RAC call later and the alt was tested and ok.Got it jumped and ran it for 20 mins to warm up then a 10 mile drive to the new house......Still flat at the end of this.. I wouldn't have minded too much but it had a brand new batt about two months ago;it was change FOC by the nice man at the batt shop as it was only 2 years old and under warrenty. So it looks like this one must go back now. The Zed has been standing a bit; but still it should last longer than it has(she has had a few runs in the two months) Any one got any thoughts...:duffer: Marcus

Looks like we are all having a nightmare with Mot's at mo Si. My Zed had to have a fog light(i know thats not a major as your probs) but for cr*ps sake; the same bloke did mine last year and it had a fog light then;and he passed it; was wired from a switch under the dash to the rear r/h light cluster !!:confused::confused: I have just told the garage they can bloody well remove the ugly fooking thing and dont even think about charging me !!:nono: :rant::rant: Any way lets hope you can sort yours mate.

Have now looked at this site http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_110.htm and it would seen one does need a Rear fog. Now thats great because I have just found my Existing fog light(rear) in the light cluster.(ok I dont use the car that often and i forgot!)So how the Fu*k does an Mot tester (who did this car last year and passed it) miss this. I am about to have it out with the garage as they have fitted an ugly hanging thing. There must be loads of you out there who have this set up; has any one had any bother with this set up. I need to know before I rip into the garage !!!:rant::rant::rant:

It is true that the Zeds look great when you see one close up. I was the same when I first saw one, then when you drive one its fab !! Has any one had a Jap Zed Mot'ed in the last few months and been told they HAVE to have a rear fog light; cos I have just had this. The car was mot'ed at the same garage last year and not a sodding mention of it then. Have the rules changed this year or was the mech just being a tw*t?:rant::rant::rant: I now have a light fitted and should i take it off???? Thanks Marcus

Spotted in the Spinal Injurys car park at Oswestry Hospital. Only saw it as I was leaving there today. Was a dark grey with a small rear plate(my eyes are,nt that good !!):tongue: Marcus

Hi Phil; Yes indeed it was the 'yellow beast' but was not me behind the wheel and it cert was'nt me pushing !!! It was on its way to the garage for an MOT (which it failed on a hole in the exhaust!) It was being driven by the mech who managed to STALL IT !! Got her back now after they have prob all been for a spin in it, they said they had put £20 petrol(cos they said it was low on fuel) i put £15 in just before they collected it.......the garage is 2.5 miles away .......say no more.:xxx::xxx: Dont start me off:rant::rant:

. :confused: :confused: :confused: Hi all; Has any body got a clue what could be up with my Turbo timer; its a Greedy full timer; the car had a flat batt when i tried it the other day, so i started it with my jump pack, it then started beeping (the timer, not the car :rofl: ) After it had been running for some time i switched it off and it still was beeping. I tried to see if holding the on button would reset it but no luck. So i had to leave it with the ign off (still beeping) so the batt has gone flat again. I am; as i type this; charging the disconected battery. Any one got any thoughts on this one please. :nana2: :nana2:

Hi Si Scubie is right we did do a cruise last year; we went To St Petersburg; we did take in Oslo;Talin; Helsinki etc etc on the way. This was not a Fjord style cruise as the main ones are accross in Norway. Scubie and i did do a large part of Norway on the way back from the Arctic Circle in 06. Some of the sceanary is breath taking ! We crossed a few streatches of water on the way too. There are a few Co's that deal with cruises; P&O being the largest (we went with them) You could try http://www.pocruises.com/QuickFinder/Cruises-P810-2008-Summary.aspx if you fancy Norway 7 ports in 14 days; should be great for the sceanary. :hyper: Have a look at the P&O site too; there are a few that go into that area. Can't belive it; i saw not one but two 300's in Shrewsbury on Tue(i think.I got a bad memory ! lol) One was in white; but not sure what year; as the naughty boy was ragging it a bit and the old Chrysler tank could'nt keep up. :tongue: spotted near the A49 at Battlefield.
