Have to say thanks to Scubie again; as he has just fitted a nice set of HID's to the Zed and what a differance it makes. I have only had one shot at a timed run. The unit was as i had it from Simon when i bought the Zed, so don't know about weight. We managed (2 up) 0-60 6.4, 1/4 in 15. something cant remember now and terminal speed @1/4 mile of 103mph. Dry and bear in mind i can't rev and hold brake, as i use hand controls ! :headvswal Look out the Pod I am comming; it's the best and safe way to do it !!...................Right ! lets find a quiet road guys ! :tongue: :tongue:

I have not long got off the phone with Carol Nash insurance. I paid over £400 this year for the Zed and I have been quoated;to include legal protection, 5,000 miles;UK and europe breakdown by Nash's £217 full comp with £100 excess for fire theft and glass damage (£200 this year). Is it cos i'm old :( or co's i'm a cripple !! :smash:

Got a Chrysler Voyager Grand LTD 3.3ltr petrol. Got my eye on the wifes Jeep Cherokee and Saab Convertible...but she won't let me put hand controls in them; so have to stick to the Pimp Mobile ! :headvswal

At last i managed to blow the cobwebs out the Zed yesterday; only been about 4 months since i went out in her. All i can say is wwwwwwwwwwwwwtttttttffffffffffffffffffffffffffffk. I cant even after owner her for nearly a year get over how fast the beast is. When I bought the car from Side Show Bob i guess i was a bit nervous of it what with driving with hand controls because you can either go or stop, no inbetween if you know what i mean.! :mac1: She has a computer thingy that doe 0-60 1/4 mile standing start and speed at 1/4 mile. so i had a go at setting it up ........... Results according to the comp were: 0-60 in 6.01 sec. 1/4 mile 14.89sec and speed at 1/4 mile 103mph. Do those figs sound daft or is the bitch computer winding me up. The main prob is that i can't hold the brake and get some revs up due to the hand controls. Right; can you see in the first pic the side ramp comes down, in doing so the rear axel is pulled down by a few inches. Next pics are one with ramp down (lowered) and one with ramp up. OK they are not on the Zed but on the Voyager . ;) 245/40/19 Dunlop Sport 9000. They have improved the ride and cornering 10 fold. :hyper: Lets hope i can get the Zed ones fixed now !!! :headvswal Wheelman

:wack: Sorry tale; Marcus was out in his garden on Tue afternoon looking over the estate when low and behold the stupid twit....twit i said Pete; fell out his wheel chair and ended on the floor like a sack of tatties. :cry: After some time i was put back onto my perch and thus went to A&E, spent about 5 hrs at hospital. Then they only tell me i have to go back in the morning again !! FFS Looks like I have made the already bad elbow joint worse by chucking myself on it when i fell; good point is they are 60/40 sure i have not chipped a bone. O joy !! :wack: So now I am finding it very hard to drive due to the pain. :nono: was the wifes answer when i asked her if i can still go on Sun. So I am sorry to miss this fun day. Marcus.
