  1. Nah the alarm can't be controlled by this system then I wouldn't say, not unless the man himself knows summit i don't!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Doubtful but does can the alarm arm/disarm from turning the key in the door locks? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Not if your alarm can only be disarmed by its own fob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The concept is great, I've been thinking on doing this for ages, personally rather than snapping a key in the barrel I'd remove it completely and mount the switch where the barrel used to be, out of sight and still easily accessible where your used to it being as well as out of the way of arse passengers lol I was thinking about turning my ignition on through an alarms auxiliary output, but this system takes the complications away, this may sound like a daft question but have you checked the system to make sure the car is immobilised when the passive locking is in "lock" mode?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hi mate , can you give more details on the full alarms capabilities / functions?? Pager ect ,........ Was thinking about doing this to my own :) with various other alarm systems a while back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Swell Anthony, just wanna make sure I have all the bits to hand so I can get it done with no fkn about :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. As above folks looking for info on the pipe diameter I need for the throttle body coolant pipes bypass :) Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hiya folks , as above , looking for a couple of throttle body gaskets and the local motor factors are useless as always, can get them oversea's from an eBay seller but takin 20 quid postage for the sake of a couple of 3 quid gaskets so I'm trying to avoid that route!! Is Nissan my only other option ?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Pretty sure there used to be similar kits floating around eBay for the front too! And "Corby Motorsport" sell a front kit, you'll find it through google.
  10. You can buy adjustable bushing kits off eBay, just type in "300zx rear camber" and you'll find em :) the bushes are poly and have few bits n bobs that make up an adjustment system :)
  11. +1.......... And the anti corrosion protection is non existant, few months and there rotten.
  12. Had a similar prob last winter, shit connections at various injector plugs with high resistance, pull and check em, clean and fire em back on, worth a try. tiz the time of year dampness sets in.
  13. Yup, some other country's measure power in kilowatts as opposed to BHP
  14. Engines are rather chreap these days for some strange reason, good mileage TT engines can be bought for around the 500 quid mark, if it was me I'd buy another engine, preferably one I can hear running before removal and see the speedometer ect, bang the whole lot in and sell bits off the old engine to recuperate some money, remember depending on how warm it actually got it could also have a cracked cylinder head, so pressure testing for internal cracks is advisable and also the bottom end has also endured the same high temperatures so .... ..... It's a gamble I'd say, not one I'd take, your roasted engine as I said could be sold for parts (plenum, turbo's, VVT pulleys ect) or be a good engine for a forged project as it would be stripped and rebuilt anyway.
  15. Well done matey :)
  16. Yea that's what I'm thinking :) just renewed my membership so il PM ya shortly (once it works) :)
  17. Forgot to add my username with the PayPal payment lol So the payment from David Collison is from me :)
  18. So when do the 99 spec copy panels become available?? Can you tell I want one? Lol
  19. Yea but is it physically different or look the same?
  20. And also when can I buy a 99 spec copy illuminated panel :D
  21. Firstly cheers for the reply :) EGR is active on all "off load conditions" (tick over and motorway cruises),besides lowering combustion temps to reduce NOx, EGR when open lowers engine displacement, if your on cruising and the valve is open and for "talking sake" the car is running 10% EGR Of spent gasses then the airflow meter is seeing less air enter the engine and the ecu fueling for the metered air. See what I'm getting at? , The higher the EGR the higher the mpg,Prius for instance can run 30% EGR, if blanked off a car like that would see a big difference in mpg. Don't get me wrong i don't nessesarily want it there just wondered if anybody had accurate mpg advantage figures. To be honesty mate as I said to jeff it was just a quick check, I didn't go daft pumping loads of pressure into the system, I more or less just wanted to rule out anything easily fixable on my lunch break at work while I had the use of the ramps ect but yea if I was then blocking relevant breathers would be a good idea :) and the PCV's should stop me filling the crankcase :)
