  1. The main one we are looking at is Loch Lomond Shore, Massive tarmac area so rain, hail or snow it can go on ( most likely all in one day ). Got quite a bit interest from other clubs, got around 5-6 clubs interested in taking a stand. Want it to be more like a chilled out meet ( albeit on a much larger scale ). Will be a mixed bag of cars for sure, think there is maybe 1-2 shows out doors in scotland these days ( that arent marque/era specific ).
  2. Hahaha, I see what you are saying. We have 2 locations options and both offer the option of doing something this year on a smaller scale. This will most likely be the way forward and then grow it for 2015.
  3. Nobody else interested?
  4. Think you could get away with slightly flaring the arches and mega stretch + camber! lol
  5. We are trying to gauge interest but at the same time need to move quickly to get it all sorted. 350z boys more than welcome.
  6. Hi folks, I am looking at possibly putting on a show which will be a mixture of the clubs i am part of. Will be a good mix of Jap, VW, Fords, Old School and American Muscle. Will be looking at holding it in the central belt and would be looking at around the end of May/start June. We are aiming for around 100+ cars. Basically looking to see if any of you guys would be interested? let us know. Cheers Greig
  7. If thats the difference in price to see who owns a piece of land, can you imagine up much more tax would be payable up here!! Will defo be voting no come the time, no way im paying for some egotistical fat b*****d's pipe dream!!
  8. In England it is £3 up here in scotland it is £40!
  9. Was hoping for a free way, land registry want £40!! If I need to go that way then I will.
  10. Hi, Wondering if anyone on here can help me out, basically looking at trying to find out who owns a piece of land in my local area. Tried calling the local council but they are as much use as a ashtray on a motorbike!! Anyone got any knowledge of this or even better any contacts that can help?
  11. Door seals are common on all the mk4 golf based cars ( Leon, Octavia and A3 ) pretty simple fix though. Most common things on these cars are Seals, Axle bushes, window regulators, MAF's, Oil Level Sensors. few others aswell but these are the main ones.
  12. Guy I work with as a newer K1 Leon and has done a few bits and bobs, runs just shy of 370hp and it is a proper weapon while retaining good driveability!
  13. I really like the Cupra R aswell. Other than zeds my main car love from the VAG stable and would rate the Cupra R pretty highly. Think you have to remember that most are 10+ years old and many have been abused for a lot of there lifes! Having said that I would say that a proper Cupra R as opposed to a normal ( cheaper Cupra ) would be a much better car. Will have been looked after a lot better as they are more desirable and cost more to buy!!
  14. If its mechanical work needing done I can recommend hypertech scotland ( down falkirk way ). Guy james works there and knows his way round a zed. Del on here uses him I believe and I have aswell.
  15. Thanks for the mention, poorboys is personal favourite aswell. Having said that I have recently done my mums car with the Orchard range which came up really really well and didnt take long at all, mainly down to using their speed seal and speed wax. Have changed my mates mind as he was an autoglym junkie. Always happy to help anyone that needs it either through supplying products or just advice! Cheers Greig
  16. Having recently been up to fort william, I can highly recommend heading up anoach mor! See for miles around and the gondola ride up is fun if its windy! But really that whole area is beautiful!
  17. Should have a 300zx.co.uk greyhound!! That way we can all have a bet on it!!
  18. Those look real nice, been around the greyhound track all my life. Had a couple myself, best one was a wee brindle bitch that we got free as the previous owner couldn't get her to chase the hare! 6 months later we sold her for 2k to monmore and later she went to Ireland for breeding. Defo gonna get another! Most likely for shawfield this time.
  19. As said over PM, I purchased this ECU from JeffTT and never fitted it. Infact the box was opened and closed again, never used and them sold to yourself. Will need to see what Jeff says, though given that it was a good few months ago that I bought it from him and approx a month ago you bought it from me not sure what will be done if anything!?!

  21. Depends how you want to do it really, could go the snow foam route or there is always the 2 bucket method with a lamb mitt! Main thing is a good rinse to remove and loose dirt before starting!!
  22. Company is domain express, we manage it they host it and help out. TBH we are in the process of setting everything up and the final piece is adding a shopping cart.
  23. Talking to the wife there and she mentioned when she spoke to them they said if we just wanted to use opencart for our site they would host it for us, so may try going down that route then. Thanks!
