  1. I'll offer my 350z as an attendee if no one else comes forward, I'm a fair distance away but don't mind the drive :) You can all bully it then can't you :D - - - Updated - - - Just let me know who/how I'm paying :)
  2. Invite you all to Blackpool? Now the nights are lighter our brand new prom would be a good back drop for a mass zed attack! :)
  3. Take away from this experience how well a car of that age stood up to an impact, inspires confidence in the build quality :) Hope he can get it fixed/appropriately recompensed!
  4. Just confirmed attendance to USC this year...... Anyone else going? :)
  5. Welcome to the club mate :) I'm a dual z owner too! Though mine are z32 and z33. You'll be asked for pictures of your car very shortly so you may as well get uploading now :D
  6. I may be able to arrange annual/quarterly dyno days at the college....... I'd have to enquire about insurance etc but it may be a way to get Zeds in one place, one dyno etc........ Sure some of my students would happily help out with setting up etc..... Can't promise anything but I've been thinking about it for a while really..... I'm not in work till next week (Easter :p ) but I also have my first set of masters exams coming up ( :s ) so wont be able to progress this for a couple of weeks...... I'll try though :)
  7. Think you just nominated yourself to arrange one bolt! :D
  8. Who do we talk to about ideas for the club? Who is the boss I mean? :)
  9. Orange are dog poo when it comes to customer service, they tried to have my mum over three months on the go for Internet, took me two pleasant phone calls and five angry phone calls to finally get her money back, keep plugging away mate. Eventually they have to give you your money back, start talking court and solicitors etc.....
  10. Be aware though!!!! TFR will mark non metallics, hence the suggestion of local application with a cloth ;) Otherwise make sure panels are covered or soaked with soapy water :)
  11. TFR is good for this, wear gloves and use a cloth for accuracy, or as said, cover engine and just spray a layer on, agitate with a brush and then rinse. :)
  12. Also toying with the idea of a sub being fitted.... But this may be more of a project. I'd love the little Bose dash speaker :)
  13. So, Easter....... Race manifolds and downpipes on their way. Chipped ecu arrived Original mats on their way. Booked in for suspension tweaks at zed world. Hard pipes on way too :D 300 has certainly monopolised my time this holiday :D Some new dyno sheets will be arriving soon as all is fitted :)
  14. The e30? I wouldn't say cheap, it was expensive at the time, but not compared to what they're worth now ;) To get rid of that car someone would have to be offering a figure starting with a 3 and 3 other numbers following it, with no decimals in between :D Love the e30 :)
  15. Ah, so same street basically! I was being vague for our mutual benefit by the way :) You'll have to say hello if I'm ever about! :) - - - Updated - - - Think this summer there should be a Blackpool z gathering too..... I do enough travelling to events :D
  16. Hmm.....trying to think if I've ever spotted a z nearby......? You still got it?
  17. Really? Are you going off the first pictures or the last picture of the 300?
  18. Thanks Richard!! Ha ha, I'm sure someone was saying how nice my legs were in the 'what do you look like thread'. My Anna was getting well jealous! :D The cars are coming along nicely, Got a seat base for the e30 and some bbs rm to refurb and fit, The 300 is getting its wheels painted, I've taken a turn on the wheels front on the 350 though..... Gonna keep it the way it is and just plough 500 quid into some potenzas for the standard rims.....in 20 years I'll be glad I did! :)
  19. I just saw the pics of your gray, that new front end setup looks brilliant! I may go down that route eventually myself! :) Still loving the z33..... As for the 32, I was thinking of doing some intake and exhaust tuning with ecu setup to see what I can get out of the na lump...... It's so reliable as it is though...... It ran excellent power on the dyno but I feel it could benefit from a bit more free breathing...... A tt conversion will probably be the final route but with the na being so reliable I feel I owe it a chance at being tuned :D
  20. Nope? Z32 was from lytham, used to be sandyzs and then a local guy, I've had it near 2 yrs now..... The z33 I bought from Nissan in Grimsby :)
  21. So, it's been a car weekend so far, and I thought to myself, of all the cars I've had I always forget to get a picture 'with' them. So here are my cleaned cars :D And although you can't see it, I painted my calipers and disc centres today, as well as touching up the front bumper a tad.... :) Planning on attacking the wheels tomorrow if the weather holds :S
  22. Cheers mate :) I love the thing, getting dangerous to ride on roads nowadays though.... Very busy round my area... :( Won't get rid though :D
  23. Had a nostalgia moment last night, so what did I do....... Only ordered a knight rider light! :D
  24. I share your thoughts! I did have to wonder why you were asking though ha ha :D
