Its a little difficult without hearing it first hand................... if it is the actuator, there not expensive. but it could be a turbo, that noise could be oil starvation. not good to drive if it is that, get it checked out asap & good luck cheers martin

Tom Tom 510 Go, full europe coverage, bluetooth inc, so mobile works, also speed camera alerts ,inc chargers window mount & software IMHO the best satnav for £300, cheers martin.

Nailvarniah remover, petrol will do the job , no worries, but they are very harsh solvents & can permantly mark the plastic, imo white spirit will do the job without chance of perminant damage to dash cheers martin

Hi all, Could anyone please advise where i can get some oil seals for my j/spec auto box I only need one seal can give the correct part number if needed, but will buy a kit if needed, Thanks in advance for your answers........................ Hi , Changed the autobox on my jspec, & since this the car came to a hault after about 200miles or so. Lost confidence in the autobox specialist who fit the box after he put the wrong oil in. I took it to a friend , who dropped the pan & changed the oil & Cleaned everything & flushed it out ( he found a foreign body like some spongy material hanging from the oil strainer ) After this was removed & put back together & filled with oil, the car drove perfectly, went through all gears up & down & kick down it drove A1. After it was parked & later there was no drive :headvswal The second seal on the oil strainer was worn, & it was not replaced , could this be the cause of no drive ?? Regards Martin
