Taking into account that only a small number of these cars were made ( relatively ) especially 92/3/4 i dont think Jspec/uk will make that much difference imo im glad the tide is now in favour of jspec due to salt/rust issues fed up with jspec looked on as inferior i thought they were all imports anyway ( if im wrong im sure it will be kindly pointed out lol ) The Z32tt most underated car in the world !!

Get a rebuilt/upgraded autobox Or buy a car with everything already done from the club.............. only problem there sorting/modding it personally is half the fun/heartache :rofl:

£1250 is peanuts for a Z32TT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If u cant afford a rebuild & are on a budget source a box from a car thats been crashed, where u can verify the box was ok Replace the stock oil cooler if its a jspec import at same time. Also replace rear crank oil seal, front & rear gearbox oil seals , this should sort out the leaks. boxes that have stood around avoid like the plague, the lining flakes off, if not lubed by the oil & will cause failer soon after instal. If u have a autobox standing fill her up to the top to avoid this. Dont buy from scrappy ( just my experience ) if buying from a trader ask for a guarantee in writting & good luck

I bought from traders in this club...... Yes it was full of shit ( bits in the oil ) & yes i cleaned strainer cheers martin :cry:

Please dont answer with suggestion of manual convertion. :) Got 3 autoboxes now, I bought 1 box as a spare from a member of club. Also bought 2 others from Traders on this forum. 1st box no drive whatsoever, its been in/out 3 times tried a different T/C I presume this box is ******** 2nd box I put it in drove for a short time less that 200 miles never pushed it always drove tidy, It always seemed to jump alittle too quickly into 2nd gear was ok but never perfect. I lost drive, dropped the gearbox oil was slightly contaminated, flushed it out , replaced oil it drove perfect for a mile or so then died. Could this be Torque convertor problem ?? Or is it the box ?? Cheers Martin

Sounds like gearbox oil leak, Thats how my box went also..... box out job deffo, also change gear box seal aswell as crank seal, cheers martin

If the idle changes when switched , prolly just regas/service mate Cheers martin

Air-con regas & oil & clean is about £70 here in wales, but it could be condenser broken really need to take the car 2b checked out cheers martin
