Lol, i think after this i really had enough of zed for now! i think ill finish my degree off get a full time job and then maybe think about getting a z and get a full rebuild so i get no issues!!!

Well she smokes while idling whiteish smoke but smells like oil (i think)! and smokes heavier when under load or boost!!

I was driving my zed today due to the wonderful weather (really enjoying it mind you). Going down a nice stretch of road. Car was perfect but all of a sudden the engine started to sound like a tractor and i quickly pulled over. Switched the car off and had a look, there was a massive trail of oil on the road were i been driving.... :censored: I had a look at the engine bay and couldnt really see anything..so had a look underneath and massive puddle of engine oil!!!! one of the oil cooler pipes had burst putting my engine oil out on the road.. no words to describe the feeling i was having. I called the aa and they recovered it for me to a garage were new engine oil was put in!! again! started the car up and it sounds normal but i am getting white smoke coming out from both exhausts and heavier smoke coming out during acceleration!!!! I am guessing the worst some sort of potential engine damage???!!???!! she must have run a minute or so without engine oil!! what could be the problem!??! Cant believe this had to happen now!!! pissed off!! feel all the work i put into the car as gone to complete waste!!!

Hey Guys, What are the main gaskets under the plenum called and where can i source them from? i know there is the main one in the middle. http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=677 how about the ones on the sides, what are they called?

could the exhaust not being sealed properly cause an issue?

anyways.... back to the point all of the work has been done, a mate of mine came along and offered some stainless decats too for a bargain so managed to get exhaust done as well. Also got some locking collars and put them on. Painted and then hammerite was put on sub too :) Question though, it does feels a lot more responsive and quicker. However i am finding it a lot more noisier and the odd vibrations too. Does everyone have that with the conversion?

Changed her from tt sub fram/diff to an na one and put decats in too :)

Would i need to change my power steering pump to an na one? I was planing to take all the hicas pipes out.!

Well i got the frame, diff and prop (two piece) but my gearbox etc is a tt manual, is that going to be an issue? tt i got it off was running around 450 ish bhp, didn't seem to have any issues! (he was running a na gearbox though)

It comes with the entire sub frame, a rebuild diff and prof shaft etc. If that's what you mean? It was fitted onto a tt for a few miles and then just been taken off, so should just fit directly into mine.

Funny enough i got the entire thing with the prof etc ready to fit, its been fitted to a tt for about 500 miles after being taken of a na with 69k kilometers.
