Have these myself, ask them if they are Megan's as thats what i purchased from them, as said before, fit it all loose then tighten up, good quality for a good price, haven't found them cheaper since.
  2. Well done mate
  3. That would be very useful
  4. I have also read about alot of people bypassing it but i wouldnt like to advise.
  5. Sorry jaffa there is a way to post the pics straight onto the post but i'm not sure how to do it.
  6. From another website EGR This is a valve on the engine that goes from the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold, controlled by the ECU. When the ECU senses that there is too much oxygen in the exhaust, it diverts some exhaust gas into the cylinder, reducing the oxygen in the cylinder, causing more total ignition of the available oxygen and gas, and reduced emissions.
  7. Both stationary, one at low idle one slightly higher. I can see a lazy left O2 sensor, any comments on faults/good points much appreciated. Thanks David
  8. Decats and the MOT and decats in respect of insurance companies are two different things, as long as you tell the insurance company what mods you have had done they will pay out, but usually only for standard parts.

  16. Hope everything goes fine, i know how your feeling, i went in for an ECG and chest x-ray at the end of last week, will get results when i see doctor next week. Just high blood pressure for me at the moment, you'll be fine. David
  17. You get nothing for free in this world
  18. Connected up the battery again, dont seem to be getting third gear lockup with overdrive switched of, re-done diagnostic for box and am now getting the all clear...mmmmmmmmmm
  19. Yup, i'll disconnect battery before work tomorrow and check when i come home. The lock up solenoid, i think, is to do with gear lock in 3rd.
  20. The connection on the temp sensor is fine, is there a way to test the sensor itself?
  21. Evening folks, got a couple of fault codes from the box this evening, speed sensor and lock up solenoid. Ok i know where the speed sensor is so i can check the wiring and order a new one if need be, but the lock up solenoid, where is it? can it be tested? is it expensive to replace? and do either of these faults explain why my idle has dropped to around 600rpm and there is no "choke" function working on the car (on cold start the idle goes straight to 600 or the engine cuts out)? Thanks as always David
