  9. yep the car is totaly different to drive now. this is the mod that the car has been needing. custom s/s 3 inch from the tubs all the way back to a 4 inch rolled out . this is a top quality exhaust. a couple of pics i took b4 fitting.
  10. it must be tight getting them 18g's in the engine bay.
  11. there a doddle to fit. like is said b4 get a boost gauge as well if you don't have one, and a chiped ecu just to keep the fueling right.

  14. i tryed to get a few quotes before i made the decision to go for my conversion. try explaining you have a japanese import with an american v8 in it.
  15. so i take it he still has'nt found out how to work the boost adjuster then alan. it was running almost no boost when i was in it yesterday. i bet he's out there now trying to get the thing set up. :rofl:
  16. got a second tester and the results are almost the same give or take a psi. just running the engine now to warm it up then test it again.

  19. ok i have done another compresion test. on a engine that was given a clean bill of health, by one of our traders recently. the cold results are ......cadpauls results cold..... dsr 130 psi..... psr 130 psi dsc 130 psi..... psc 130 psi dsf 135 psi..... psf 135 psi ......guvnors results cold...... dsr 130 psi ..... psr 120 psi dsc 125 psi ..... psc 125 psi dsf 130 psi ..... psf 125 psi this car has been stood for 2 days.(mine was stood for 4 months). any input would be very greatful. (or have i some bad news for cadpaul :rofl: )
  20. funny i'm selling my engine at the mo. si after reading your second engine was bolixed i decided to test mine as i'm not the type to $hit on another member. turn's out i done the test wrong. so i'm doing the test again on another zed to get the results hot and cold. sorry to see this has happened t you.
