I think Wynns and Forte do a product..Some people put half a litre of ATF fluid in but I,m not so sure about that..Better off sticking with a product designed for the job..

Do an engine flush and an oil change.

Mines a 93 import and they do light up

Probably just oil left in the exhaust pipe. Had a turbo blow on a Escort rs turbo years ago and it took months for the oil to burn out of the exhaust..

I'd send him some money just to take it off. lol....

From main dealer part number A5208H8904 oil filter £5.30 plus VAT amd part number 1102601M02 sump washer £1.02 plus VAT,or you can use a champion C109 from halfords. Personally I would only use main dealer filters. Hope this helps
