looks good i thought about wide arch for mine but it would not fit in my garage if i did fair play to you doing it urself

the one is r134 the other is freeze 12, the latter one will replace r12 or r134 but you dont need to change any of the seals in a r12 system to use it, if you want to put r134 in the compressor oil and system seals need to be changed to go with the new gas

you dont need seals with the kit i posted it's a direct r12 replacement kit

not without getting seals changed in the sytem to suit r 134 see the link i posted above for the drop in kit

got to watch that because the z uses r12 gas and the diy refill kits are r134 so u need to get the system modded by a aircon specialist i was quoted about £100 to convert mine and gas it

multi colour z's in grey don't u love them :dance: :dance: :dance: :tongue: :hurl: anyway as for the towing eye i cut mine through about 50% of the diamater and bent it out of the way, so at least if you ever change back from a scarab you can pull it back into place and weld it ;)
