advise on exhaust please!!!!!
Went down the powerflow route myself (NA SWB) - backboxes custom made with oval tailpipes for 400STG (N. Irl)....one thing I will say - since the work was done it introduced a vibration at 2000 rpm (I just have to accelerate past that point quicker then...) and also one of the exhausts is a fraction longer (maybe 1 cm) doesn't sound like much but I'm such a perfectionist it's the only bloody thing I see when approaching the car now!! Maybe I should get out more..... The guarantee does seem to cover pretty much everything though - I wouldn't worry about getting a replacement should it rot away.....

SWB, exhaust, how different from LWB
Ended up having one custom made up by powerflow - exhausts for the SWB are rare as hen's teeth...Zcentre has pics of the exhausts here: http://www.zcentre.co.uk/exhausts/exhausts.shtml the pic on the right says its back boxes and will work for 2str (swb)... :) BTW - I put a single oval can on each box - not the twin tailpipe - looks great.......

What else to do while respraying?
Any ideas on what else should be done while all the kit is off a Zed while being resprayed? I have in my mind the following : HID front lights Clear side repeaters 99 Front Bumper 99 Rear Lights Seals / Rubbers (T-Top) The (now peeling and a bit flaky) blackwork around doors.... Rear Spoiler replacement What's missing off this list? Is it possible to do the seals / rubbers? All input greatly appreciated.... Cheers!

Full Respray - Costs?
Howdy folks, Just wondering how much you guys think a full respray would cost (with a colour change from stock silver to a deep metallic grey). Bodywork and panels are all good no dings or dents that would need work....also wondering about the chromework (that's painted black on mine) around the window and around the targa top panels - can this be re-chromed? And does anyone know how much to pay for a good pro job on the paint job and the metalwork? Any experiences with good/bad paint shops? Recommendations? Cheers :)

91 SWB NA Service Priorities? Any ideas?
Me again....just had car in with dealer to look for problems with fuel lines - nothing found?! Anyone else have a similar smell that had no apparent root cause? It is only on startup for about 10 mins from cold - then all is well...I guess I can live with it if it's a character trait on the Z's...Dealer is sending me service schedule info and prices - I'll let ye all know the damage of a 60K service from a Nissan Dealer in Ireland ;)

Ta for the input - I've booked it in for Fuel Lines and a "once-over"...then 60K service in a couple of weeks.....It's an auto btw and in boring silver but that might change ;) I'll post an update and let ye know if the new lines stop the cabin petrol smell with some pics too maybe... Cheers !

91 SWB NA Service Priorities? Any ideas?
Hi There - nice board - must join the club now I've bought one !! **remind me 'cos I'll forget** Anyone taken on board an "unknown" car (like I just have) and decided to **overhaul** using some sort of priority schedule? I have no history for it and it drives well, straight and starts/runs/brakes without any fuss. Fuel lines I think are going to be a problem - switching on the aircon when engines cold first thing creates a bit of a stink in the cabin... I'm going to sort out the fuel lines first so it doesn't become an expensive firework, but then where to next? 1st reg from Japan with 96000 km - so I guess the 60K service wasn't done...should I go the whole hog and do the full monty and spend "up front" or should I wait and hit things as the "show up" ? Is there something I absolutely MUST do (belts?).... I'll get some pics up just as soon as I get the polish on it ;)
