The car has just failed its MOT. Its failed on 1. Headlamp beam being too low 2. Offside rear tie bar/rod has excessive play in pin/bush 3. All underside metal brake pipes excessively corroded 4. a tyre which i have replacements 5. Indicators on the front which is easy to change 6. Front windscreen washer dont work 7. Offside outer front sill body has excessive corrosion, seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of the body mountings (needs welding) :shock: :cry: :slap: Anyone help me with this or know where i can get parts needed for cheap. If you can help then please let me know asap as need MOT sorting out. Thanks Bird

does your mate have a pass plus? Personally i think at 18 the little renault 5 is a bit much for him as a first car unless he's quite sensible. Then again when i was that young i wanted one, i thought i could take on the world though, im glad i didn't now though as i'd have probably crashed in it :rolleyes:

The suspension is ok (had new shocls and that on the back), i mainly dont like that colour because its always dirty :slap: , and yes i do clean her. A re-spray will come once the car is sorted. Ill either be getter turbos on the new engine or getting some different ones. It'll probably cost even more to get a good zed cos ill not get much off mine at the moment and known my luck ill probably get another one then have somemore problems :rolleyes:
