Ok, as ive mentioned before the car wont idle when its cold, Now when im chaging gear (still when cold) it sounds like a toy car moving type of noise, very hard to explain really, maybe air escaping somewhere or something :confused: Anyone got any ideas what this might be

Sp cover the area in that for a while just to slow the process down :confused:

this is the parts but the picture has turned out quite blured, this is the part taken from my old engine before chunk took it all, if chunk reads this he may be able to put a better picture of it up

its definately oil mate. I personally havent been under it yet, my mate told me where its coming from but we dont know the exact name of the part

Its down near to the driver side turbo, a little towards the middle from it.

should being the word lol pAlso it doesn't idle properly either.roblem for me is that the nearest zed garage is zen which is too busy for the next 2 months which will then make it too late for the warranty anyway. And even Zen is like a full tank of petrol away :headvswal

:rant: :rant: :rant: I know, i thought it might just have been me thinking that because of all the other problems ive had and maybe i wasn't enjoying it like i should if you know what i mean. Apparently the warranty will only cover the part itself and i need to find out what is wrong with it first which i cant do with the engine in the car and i simply can not afford to take it out. Anyone have any suggestions Also it won't idle properly either, Im going to get a compression test done to see if the engine is actually a good one, what do you think :confused:

Well, welcome back lol I got the new engine put in the car, and it has a bad leak from underneath near to the drivers side turbo, so it cant be got to from under the car, its some sort of feeder pipe or extention pipe or something, now this is either cracked or its the gasket at the top of it leaking but we cant tell with the engine in and certainly cant get to it. So now its a case of what to do. Im sick of being without my car, i have done everything ive needed too to get it running right and now i get another problem within a day of having it back, and then the warranty is only covering the part itsself and not the labour so im just so tired now mate and can't really be bothered anymore The car was only on Cadpauls dads drive for i would say 1 minute, maybe 2 at a push.

Sorry about that mate ;) But i can't help it if my new engine leaks :rant: :rant: :rant: And its in a possition that you cant possibly get too with the engine in, i cant afford to have the engine out again. Im just sick now. Why does all the shit happen to my Zed, i just want someone to fix it once and for all. any takers :confused:

who are you and where are you as i want the car to have a good luck over to make sure everything is finally working ok . . . oh and to try and find an air leak as i cant get the engine to idle correctly. So who is closest to sunderland/newcastle area? If you all put up your post codes then ill have a look myself

I really like the 200, my mate has a sweet one and its quick as fook. £4k should buy you a decent 300, dont know how rare the swb manual tt is though, most of the zeds you find will be imports so rust probably isn't that much a problem

we do have a firewall, its an AVG one i think
