Cock, cock and more cock! My mate came round today to get the car running. After a few hours, it was ready to try............ Cranked but wouldn't start. After a lengthy discussion with Jeff (thanks mate), he had plenty of things to try. A while later and having read the ECU, codes 11 and 13 stayed on. No spark.. Another call to Jeff, and a few more things tried. Still wont start. My mates a very good mechanic, that coupled with help from Jeff, leads us to belive that its not a simple fix. Looking like a wire split or broken somewhere between the fuse box, the Ecu and the injectors. It may be an engine out job to trace. If it is, i will be breaking it and buying another. Ive come so far with this, and dont want to be beaten, but i cant afford an engine out job, and cant be without a zed any longer!! It was out of the garage today, and i hadn't seen it properly for months. Forgot how good it looked! I need a roadworth Zed asap!! M3 is for sale, as is the Mr2. The zed is enough for me!

Got it all together today and it wont start. I'll keep you posted..

Basically, i took the engine out when and replaced it along with the turbos, gaskets, oil, plugs etc. Its not quite finished but isn't far off. I'd put an mot on it and get it running properly, but £2000 really is the lowest i'd take. Im not 100% on selling yet, but there are 2 cars for sale on here that i like the look of. A lot more money, but its only the money i'd spend on this getting it how i want anyway. Its a 1991, UK manual with 124k miles (roughly). Last few owners have been members on here. Adjustable suspension 18" wheels with good tyres Momo steering wheel Black leather with the nicer dash covers (not tweed!) The jap ones will have run on higher fuel. Will want sorting if it hasn't already.
