you seen the toilet on the film trainspotting, we had a blcoked toilet once and the dirty fooker's kept using it, never bothered telling us till we did our weekly round, cleared the toliet and used a shovel and a plastic bin to clean up should see some of the drains we have to clean lol

no probs mate, the one's in the communal area look like they have hung of the ceiling to have a crap, there is usually more on the floor. wall's and seat than in the actuall toilet

the chrome is gone of the waste already, we bulk buy the cleaning gear so doesnt cost much, also the stuff we use can be used all a lot of material's, the stuff your on about we have to be carefull not to burn and as for the marigold's, i use asda multi purpose rubber gloves lol

im not cockley at all, some of the stuff ive cleaned (and proably stu has) would make people actually spew up lol

used a kettle descaler, hot water, cream cleaner and a brillo soap pad the overflow does look satisfied now you mention it lol

yeah they would crack, you can get some very nice blocks these days if you want to do it properly then put a concrete base down before you sand and block it, wont sink then
