hi everyone have just insured my uk tt zed got an excellent qoute of £675, i insured it 3rd party fire and theft, have 8 years no claims bonus and no points or convictions on my licsence and also live in an medium rated crime zone. because i am paying in instalments it works out at £710 but still about £3-400 cheaper than any other insurance company. was at work today in my trannie van pottering around sunderland when i noticed another new speed camera in pallion just off kayl road. then i got thinking i wish there was a section on this site where people could post new camera sites for everyone to see. the fact that we drive such powerfull cars its only a matter of time before we get points on our licencse. I just thought if we had something like this on the site we would have a better chance of avoiding the dreaded points and fine. Just a thought i was having so if u think that this is a lame idea then in advance sorry but i thoght it would be worth mentioning

i aint got any carb cleaner and the only alcohol ive got is stella lol, im going to try wd40 and a cloth then use ourlasses hair dryer to dry it out thanx for advice

i live in sunderland a little place called town end farm (known to a lot of people as neck end farm lol) the average house price is about £72,000 or so im told with me and ourlasses wages we can manage a mortgage of about £86,000 so i should be ok

i need help quick have got my maf off cause i think that is where my running prob lies i.e finding it hard to accelorate below 3000 revs. got it in front of me and there is a rusty screw where my sus blitz filter fastens on to the maf so it will need drying (i have recently found out the problem with fitting this filter) but what i need to know is the rod that hangs down inside the maf looks all black with dirt is there a special cleaner for this or is wd40 and a cloth ok. i know to be gentle with the thin wire. thanx in advance for any help :bow:

im just going for the usual power mods at the moment filter, decatt, chip, boost jets and controller if i get standard brakes working 100% do u think they will be good enough with decent discs and pads all help is good so dont worry about how limited it is thanx

i shouldnt be worried i know the score as i work for a property owner (landlord) and we always talk about what he is going to buy next and we give each other advice, just the thing is its my money on the line and i will be living in it not renting it out like my boss does i think im just after a bit moral support cheers so far

have cleaned caliper pistons twice already on front as only two of them were working have heard of people using skyline gtr brakes do the calipers fit straight on and do they use zed discs or skyline discs and yes the brakes are fine but when working but am slowly increasing the power of my zed so thought no good going fast if i cant slow down

am going to see about getting a mortgage on wed am shatting myself taking on that sort of commitment anyone else in my boat this is the biggest thing ive done since i bought my zed lol

budget wouldnt normally be a problem but am saving for a deposit for a house ourlass says sell the car it costs to much so will soon be looking for a new girlfreind lol

luckilly my dad is an extremely good plater/welder just wanting to know how much a new sill is before asking him to make it up himself cheers for advice

as with most zeds my brakes are s.h.1.t what would be a good replacement for my tired old brakes cant afford expensive set up so cheapest option only please :D
