i rang the dvla and was told the same, then when i sent off log book it was kept till the vic check was done, you may find this happening to you if you sell and change the keeper, the new keeper may find that the vehicle will require a vc check and then they are entitled to bring it back be carefull

yes it will, thats what i was told, then when i changed address on my log book the dvla kept my log book till i got a vic check done, my car is now classed as a class c (econmical write off), any payout of insurance will automatically put your car on the list any car that has been wrote off by insurance and repared will require a a vic test before you sell it, it will then come back with a note on the bottom of the log book declaring that it has been or will need to be substantionally reapaired

i remeber a couple of years ago i took it to a nissan dealer and they said it definately had a miss on lets say for instance coil number one, so they changed one and two around and expected two to be missing-not the case, it started missing on a totally different coil i was told to leave £200 andthey would work on my car till they found out what was wrong or till they ran out of money lol any ideas if this could related to my still running prob and what would cause the coils to miss like that???

connectors have been changed will check the gaps on the plugs on sat, wil also check the timing, ive thought about a coil pack breaking down (anyone got a good one to lend me) would a decent injectorcleaner help???? if i have the auto econ button pressed instead of the window demister button the problem gets worse, would this be simply down to the decrease in revs making it easier to stall??? the smell from the engine and exhausts stinks of rich running, to the point that its actually coming through into the car lol maybe it gets better when resettign as the ecu over rides things to learn its curve again the cas isnt central, ive not changed it will let ya know how i get on at the weekend

doubt you could get any money (unless they have done it already), i would go and see the site manager and contest the plans, tell them you didnt see it in the plans and that you will seek legal advice if they go on any further also if there is a blockage in the drains and it turns out to be yours, you will be liable for charges to clear the blockage as its in your garden basicaly they are saying the council aint taking any responsibilty for the manhole's, they are actually storm drains which will take the water from al the roads and the front of the houses, if one blocks up it may cause flooding (worst case) im no expert mind

have got an ecu, ive changed it before, it does the same runs great for a while then goes to shitty running again

why the fook does she persist on washing cups and glasses and leaving them on the drainer to dry, put the fookers in the dishwasher, it will wash them, dry them and i will put the fookers away (again)

yeah its running rich but why???? if i give it some stick it seems to miss like hell (maybe flooding) when i change gear and hesitates til it maybe burns off the petrol if ya know what i mean 02 sensors are fine i do get a bit of black smoke whilst on boost, today it ran ok, yesterday it ran likea bag of shite this has been going on since i got the car, ive tried all the usual things why does it run as it should when i reset ecu, tps, aiv???? also it has no low down torque when running crap, but loads when running right, am gonna check my plugs and connectors again on sat im pissed off with it at the moment

im no expert but if it wasnt on the plans in the first place then i wouldnt have thought they could, is it front or back garden???

the drivers side of the exhaust pops like a quiet backfire when cold, also seems to miss and pop if i hold the revs at any certain point if i reset tps or aiv or ecu it doesnt do it for a few hundred miles then starts to do it again also tries to stall on pulling away, not so bad when it gets warm, again if i reset those things i mentioned it doesnt do it any ideas peeps
