could be a knackered tps, or your base idle is too low, i know if mine was ticking over and i disconnected it, it would dip in revs then go high then low and eventually settle at a higher than tickover speed, once i fooked on with the base idle then done it and it clapped out

if when the car is running you disconnect it, the revs should hunt around for a bit and settle at about 1500 rpm, if it claps out then your base idle is set too low

yeah i noticed the difference in color after i posted lol, the thing is with mine it just got really expensive, when you think i had spent over 10k on it then the engine went, it would have been another 5-6k, it was easier to sell the car cheaper and let someone spend another 5k on it, so if you look at it, you have a car that has had around 15-18k spent on it for 7k you got a deal lol
