MJP apparently do a proper version. Used to be about £90 I think depending on what options u want like the hicas or cruise control buttons etc. I got a cheapo off of ebay...Its not perfect but it works with a little adaption ;)

When you switch the ignition on does the fuel pump prime?...? Do you hear a buzzing/whirring from the rear?
