It sounds like you should break it mate, at least that way you can make some money back to buy a tidy well looked after Zed. If the car has been abusied it could just be a money pit that your forever trying to fix.

Yes I drove there from Wales to look at 2 very poor Zeds, I'd stay clear. Also avoid most importers/traders in the Brum area. The best advice I can give you is don't be in a rush to buy one and buy it from an owners club member who's cared for their car.

I've had all this before when I had a black merc and I didn't do anything, just left them as they were. At the end of the day if they're illegal how are window tinting companys aloud to run a business thats suppying an illegal service? Its an utter pap law, leave them on mate.
