In a nutshell no mate not in my 4 years experience! All I had left to do was a dodgy 02 sensor wire and a steering column rubber to replace and now I've just gone and blown the engine :( ........oh and I'd just had my clutch done 2 weeks ago!!

Nice one fella ;) Engine blew mate, simple as that. Temp was fine it just went louder seconds before it went pop :( Thanks mate but unfortunately 300ZX and Cheaply don't go in the same sentence LOL. Looks like a new engine and I'll be changing the turbos too while it's all out ;)

It stopped eventually after losing abs and pas but won't start. Even the dipstick is chewed up in the internals!

I'd go for an uprated RPS clutch from Smithy. Will probably cost about £500 fitted
