The problem in the wet is as soon as you lose a bit of traction the revs will increase and the tubs spool up causing it to spin even worse. As has already been suggested get some decent tyres and be a bit gentler with the gas.

Still ere, but as winter is upon us I can't be bothered using the thing. Just clutch, Engine and Turbos replaced this year and have used it about 5 times. Can't justify wasting anymore money on it till next year so unfortunately I doubt I'll be at any meets for a while.

I've sold a couple of these and my advice would to buy a 225bhp and not 180bhp as they are under powered and nobody wants those types. Do not buy silver as its the most common colour and when you come to sell it you'll have trouble. Go for the hard top and not the convertible as again they are not very popular. 10K should get you a 2000/2001 model with above average miles.

Same thing happened to me in 2002, a guy t-boned my first Zed coming straight over a T junction. It took a year and a half to sort out but I got £6000 for the Zed and £2000 for whiplash, I also claimed for loss of earnings. I wanted to buy the car back but the tw@ts in the recovery place had left it outside in the rain for months and it ruined the interior.
