Go somewhere that has an MOT ramp. They usually sit flush to the floor so there should be no issue getting in onto the ramp. I use National usually, been to my local National a few times and they know me and my cars now. Always a good service and never rip me off.

You could slam it if you want to wreck it. But as said, -20mm is enough, maybe -40mm at a push, but you'd be slamming the car against the road over every little bump. If you want a really low look, try air suspension, then you could raise the ride hight when your driving. But i dont think theres any issues with bump stops, could be wrong though.

GOOD NEWS!! Less than 24hrs after posting, i've got myself a job!! Its Forklift Driving, same as before, only agency atm, but full time and £8 an hour. BUT the if the company take me on full time in the future, its £10+ an hour and up to 47 hours a week!! Thanks for all your messages of support! I think all the good luck worked!! One more thing though, if i dont win the lottery this week.......:p :p

After loosing my job at the end of Feb it has become apparent i can no longer afford to run my zed. The fuel cost is too much and the £180 a month insurance is crippling :( I'll keep the zed off the road intill i find a new job, but my fears are, with a £200 a month loan repayment i will have to sell her if i dont get a job within the next 3 months :( Very sad times

^^^^agreed. Anything that comes in a bottle for £5 or less claiming to "boost perfromance and add power" is a waist of money.

You could always buy it and leave in the shed untill you get your clutch and fit them both together. But if your anything like me, as soon as you get it you'll want to fit it :p :lol:

I'd go with Richard on this one, binding breaks. You could get your calipers refurbished, but its much easier and cheaper to buy replacments from Zedworld. And if you needed a hand fitting them your not too far away ;) Could even Pick em up from Zedworld for you on my way, only 10 mins down the road.

Decided i'm keeping the Escort, but going to make it Rat Look :D So i bought a set of 13x8 Weller wheels! Test fitted one today, what do you think?? Definitely needs lowering, but should i get lower profile tyres too??

The previous owner of my Zed soundproofed the cabin. It does make a hell of a difference!

How much material did you need? And how did you stick it to the bodywork?

Looks like a pretty thorough job! I don't suppose it matters what it looks like really, no-one will ever see it. Its a job i'll do at some point, before i put sub woofers in the boot :)
