I have the similiar problem when you start it from cold,, when its been parked for a while or next morning the car cuts out start it again once or twice then it is fine and will never do that once its been started once that day.
Went to Thorpe park that day... J405 HMY, hid Lights, Blacked Rear Lights,Black Wheels,,, Night rider style... and Lots of smoke,
Changing oil this week so hopefully smoke will be reduced,,,

300zx Twin Turbo is also known as Fairlady Z in the japanese market
theres are two types of Twin Turbos either a short wheel base which is the 2 seater model or the 2+2 Longwheel base model. Both can be auto or manual...
Shortwheel base 2 Seater models have better handling and performance as there turbos are slightly bigger...and setup e.g [correct me if im wrong]
Auto twin turbo's kick out about 280bhp
Manual and Shortwheel base ones about 300bhp
Then you come to the Non turbos these also come in Shortwheel base or Long wheel based and are normally described as 300ZX NA MODELS... N.A [NATURALLY ASPIRATED]
If you ever decide to get one Go for the 2 Seater Manual Twin Turbo,,,,, But these are very rare... and are more expensive..

I have personally seen Panthers ZX, and its one of the nicest zx's i have seen considering it original. I would buy it but have to get rid of my 406 coupe first,
and he doesnt wanna part ex or swap...
I have an JWT ECU chip some boost jets, and a manual boost controller but have not put them on my zed yet.. just need some help...
If i put the ECU in my car and add the manual boost controller do I still need to put the boost jets in?
Are manual boost controllers any good or should I just save up and get an electronic one....?
