most couriers are expensive to use on a one off basis. Only when having a regular contract do the prices look more reasonalble. My contract is with Nightspeed . Up to 25kg next working day to most of UK for around £8.50 inc vat

That photo in the DARK shows wot I meant by scary. The Pod lights only light up a bit of the lhs lane and the safety road. Lady smallfry was running in the rhs lane at the time of the incident.

I would be the first to agree that the £10 entry at the gate on a rwyb day is not good value for money especially in Feb. Its not my fault really but Ill apologise anyway as I was one of the originators of this idea. However on the positive side it did get you to come and have a look at something new (to you) and others also came for the first time. Now you cant please all the people all the time so It may be that some (like yourself) have decided that its not for them . Thats a fair comment. There are also some who came for the first time and are deffo up for a return visit. The Dark Warrior is now Mids organizer and will no doubt have some new ideas for us. People like Chunk , TonyC and Me who are joint members of 300Zx co uk and The Z Club are looking to visit Santa Pod regularly to take part in Mike Fs Drag challenge series, but I guess these visits will be in addition to Midlands meets and not a replacement for them.

Once the plastic coating comes off the roof trims you you are left with a strip of Stainless Steel, which is shiny and fekkin hard. Getting a "key" on the steel to hold paint is bloody difficult. If you do it you will need to finish the job in Super Hard two pack clear laquer . i have just bought a tin of "Plasti Dip " from Frost Restoration. This is a liquid plastic/rubber sustance . i havent yet tried it out. But the hope is that it will adhere better than paint to the stainless steel.

I witnessed Lady smallfry's "incident" on Sat night and it looked very scary indeed. This is the first time I have seen racing in the (pitch) dark at the Pod. There is no way im doin that! I take my hat off to Lady Smallfry, who is one very brave Lady indeed. Im just so glad you were OK. Get it fixed and come back as soon as funds are available. In a sport that is normally dominated by males it is so refreshing to meet and see such a charming young lady.

Yep , but only just!! i ran a 15.94 this morning, but couldnt repeat it. SteveJ ran a 16.0, but coulnt get into 15sc later. He lent the car to Chunk for a couple of passes, best was a 15.90. weather was bitter cold buy dry and bright. We had a rough car count around 2.00pm with an approx total of 15 (ish) of us there. Pretty good for mid winter.
