Well I am aiming to be around there by next spring without resorting to the "cliff" mod. That is the benchmark for a good N/A engine ie 100bhp/litre. I have just done two simple mods at the moment. High flow air filter(Stillen... no off the wall comments thank you) :p Full custom zorst with what I hope is just the right amount of backpressure. Next on the list is to fit the tubular headers I have bought. Once this season is over I will be looking to find someone to flow a pair of heads and raise the compression. Also going to add an ally flywheel and full Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley set. I guess those mods will then need some re fuelling ecu work. I think that lot will bring me close to 300 at the flywheel.And I aim to run consistent times in the mid to high 14 sec bracket at the Pod. :nana2: If that dont make it this country's fastest N/A then I will dig deeper in the pocket and get some cams added! And even them honed plenums! I know you Twin tubby guys are just gonna laugh your socks off and say just buy a TT car. But I really dont give two fooks wot you think. Well its not meant to be harsh. Im more than happy to send a donation to the Charity. The rest is just me speaking personally. Im not criticizing any one person or any group or organization. I dont go in for slagging, this is just me talking. Its my view only. First thing... I work about 48 out of 52 Saturdays every year, and have done for 20 odd years. So anything on a Sat is usually out for me. Autoroute says Cleethorpes is 1hr 50 mins away. So to be "on site" for 8.30am means leaving home at 6.30am, so getting up at 5.30am on my only whole day off work in the week. No way. Cleethorpes??? Me?? They dont go together. Sorry I dont like the place (nor Skegness either) so no pleasure for me. The journey, 90 miles of Motorway 5 miles of main road into Grimsby, and the same home...Boring and tedious June? I did a Z Club meeting at my house this weekend, Im going to Santa Pod on Jun 19th(part of the Drag Challenge series). My daughter needs fetching home from Uni(another Sunday). My car at a show? It is a lower order car bought primarily to go drag racing. It is downright scruffy in comparison to many. So I have no great interest in "showing" it. A Max power type show??? Not for me thanks. I like "all Jap" shows fine and also "classic type" show like Tatton Park. But neither this Cleethorpe Show nor the big one a Doncaster is personally interesting to me. Its for a charitable cause?. And I dont like targa tops, in the ZX or any other car for that matter, so I bought a slick top. Targas/slick tops. Turbos/NA engine. Auto/manual. 2+2/SWB Wot colour??? My custom made and fitted Blueflame system was £390 fitted. I am pleased with it. Full twin system with 6"x4" ovals. MantaV8 has seen it from UNDERNEATH the car! Ask him?? You can look at it too as you know where I am.!

If you add up prices from Lukes site and add labour the bill soon mounts up. Maybe not £11000! but quite a few grand . As always E-bay pictures flatter. I wonder if it looks good in the metal.
