To suit "European driving conditions" Ie high speed over long distances. Jap cars were lower specced as they were not expected to be used in the above conditions.

Use your existing engine to rebuild. Its a known quantity that hasnt been overheated, gone porous or warped etc. Only if your block is scrap do you need another unit to rebuild. The downside of course is loss of use of car while engine is out. I opted for the purchase of another engine to build so as to continue using mine while the new build is being done. My circumstances are a bit different tho as there is nowt much wrong with my original engine and I will be able to sell it once the new unit is installed.

They look cheap, and of course if you deduct the tyre cost from the total then they are cheap. They look fake to me especially the row of "bolt heads" round them. And 17s????? Why???? Stay away from the large bore Jap drainpipes so beloved by the TT fraternity. They will rob your NA of power. Mongoose and Blueflame(who were once business partners but are now business rivals) both do similar systems that will suit NAs or mildly modded TTs. Bit of a price war on these so excellent value for buyers :bow:
