with admiral at the mo on the multicar scheme, have the zed a 318ise bmw and a 318 is se bm for just over a grandfor me and the wife with a heavy right foot and three points {the missus not me}lol

been looking far a better deal on insurance for my zed its an na auto, but im still paying around the 450 mark with 15 years no claims ,been on a few classic sites but no joy,anyone point me in the right direction ..... thanks in advance

had the same prob with mine bud although its an na auto took off starter and three teeth were munched on the ring gear..... replaced starter and havent had no prob since with the same ring gear suppose the strenth of the coil on the new motor is pushing the dog a little further but am sure the problem will reappear....take it off and have a squint is the only way youll tell....

defo the cable took the handle out and the end of the cable has snaped off happened last week but havent had chance to look at it till now, everything froze up tried to open tailgate and twang game over....

anyone know where i can get a tailgate/fuel flap cable,im assuming its just he one as the end has snaped of.cheers guys

werent these lamps you talk of compulsory for the US models , think that they had side lights along side the indicator and the ones on side of the rear bumper were lit on the states models but left bulbless on the jdm versions,bt of useless info but the sidelight bulb holders on the daf 85 lorry fit perfect lol..

cheer matey just checked my policy ,itll cost me 70 so let em sort it me thinks,last insurance company wouldnt cover screen on my skyline thas why i never bothered lookin

got a problem with wipers,front intermittant is a no no as is the rear wiper and rear washers,are they on the same fuse and where the hell is it also any idea how much a front screen is had a stone thrown at it from a lorry going opp direction cheers guys

exactly what i thought and to totaly blow me away had to go back to work today and leave the slightly battle scared one sulking on the drive lol

just come back off holidays with my zed and although its an na auto was a pleasure to have with the weather as it was done over 450 miles with no issues what so ever apart from camarthensire constabulary calling into the pub asking me to change my number plate back to one they can read[day 2] a van hittin my back bumper in shop car park[day5] cracking my front bumper on raised manhole[day10] and some tipper driving gentleman launchin a stone into my windscreen [day 12] so its left me busy but fair play it perfomed well long live the zed:
