Hi Cos, How are you, well I hope... The car in question is mine and as soon as the leak was spotted the matrix was bypassed with no real water loss. Has run perfect since, just no heater. You were right to point it out though. Cheers, Deano.

Hi, I have just taken delivery of a secondhand H pipe but I have noticed that one of the pipe openings at the cat end has a smaller inside diameter. It has some sort of insert in it to reduce the diameter. Is this some sort of restrictor. Any one seen this before I am going to get it fitted lata today and I don't know wheter to try and remove it. Whilst driving home late the other night the temperature gauge needle was doing a merry dance from just under half to 0. :confused: :confused: At the time the temp outside was 3 degrees :( What could be causing this and what should I look for ???? Any help guys....... Cheers, Deano. :)

Hi ste, I also use mine on a daily basis which is about a 10 mile round trip..... I have done this for the last 2 years with no problems and the fuel economy has been decent £30 every couple of weeks, maybe more if i use it at the weekend. If you are interested in getting one then mine is up for sale at the moment.... :cry: regretably I might add, as I'm getting married next year and off course priorities have to change. Hi Nippon, Not sure what bhp she is running as I have never had her on the rollers... just don't trust em. Only had light mods with induction kit and zorsts so I guess 300 -350bhp maybe. All I know is she's fast enough and can cope with most have a go wanna be's. No real problems to speak of either, contary to what people say this car has been incredibly reliable for a sports car.
