For ages now, what I thought was my door lock (actuator), has been making a really loud noise when opening/closing . On taking the door card off I realized it was actually this that was making the noise! After replacing it the noise has stopped so I won't be waking half the street up anymore when arriving home late! The problem I have now is, when I press the alarm fob the catch inside the door locks and the alarm sets but if you pull the door handle the door still opens?! I've tried just closing the door and using the key but the the catch still goes in to the locked position and the door still opens. Any help would be much appreciated. Matt

Yeah that was the cause of my petrol flap. Pushed the rod in to position and all worked fine !

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure if there's CCTV footage the old bill will investigate, but saying that if it's Pikeys that's done it your going to need to buy some new parts :(

I've got the DW Traction rods, Camber arms and Tension rods to go on and was going to order the DW Hicas elimination kit. I've been told that the toe rods that are supplied with the kit don't fir the Zed?! Has anyone else got the same setup and what did you do with the toe rods? Did you use an alternative arm or not? Matt

Yep! I had exactly that! It was disc runout, so had the discs skimmed a mil or so when they were on the car and problem solved. Lucky I had the K-Sport 332mm because thy only just fitted on the lathe lol

Most main dealer garages can do it. It's not that pricey you'll prob only need a couple of mil taken off

Mine is the same as Andy's with 15mm spacers. No rubbing at all
