ya was white mate but some prat painted it yellow. I have been welding up the rear box sections and i am getting fed up of it cus the is to much rot.

well i thought i would be different and i have removed the aerial and the filler flap then welded them both up. to give it a clean look. oh ya and the side indicators on the wings too. hope it looks good at the finish

i have removed the tank jeff its in the bin. it is so rottern. i am putting a alloy tank on it when i eva finish the car. so its all safe.

i am not putting the filler pipe back on. i am welding it all up.

is there anyone who dus the metal work for the zeds, i know that steve dus i just wondered if there is any one else?

my filler neck has rottern aswell mate. i have cut all of the rot out i was going try and make the sections but if they r cheap i will just buy some.

i am rebuilding the zed (trying too) and i keep finding more and more rot. the rear box section behind the corner of the bumper is totaly rottern. i have removed the filler cap cus i am going to weld it up, then i will put an alloy tank in the boot. but the rust, i am going have to do my best and make new panels. also i have the other side to do and the sills and a bit on the floor. apart from that it ok. is it worth doing all of this work???????? i only payed 450 for the car. its a uk spec manual and full leather good for the money. i could save my pennys and buy a gooden but i dont know what i am buying. but atleast the work will be dun on my car. its just costin me time. what do u think????????

if i get rid of my side indicators do they flash fast or do i hav to regulate it?

do u think i could get rid of my indicator on my wings and smooth them off. I think it would look mint. But then i would have to put one in the mirror? What do u think

thank good there is some one on this site that drives trucks. If u have not driven 1 u will neva no. And if people think they r easy to drive who dus not drive them, well i think u should hav ago. Its like any job its easy when u know how. But drivin trucks is different every day. There is a lot to think about when ur drivin 44 ton.

i drive cars so i know what is like but if u neva drove a waggon u dont know wat its like. But ther r good and bad car and lorry drivers. The speed limit 4 trucks a 60 but trucks r restricted at 56 so we r aloud to pee off people in the middle lane. Know 1 can tell ya how to do some thing if ya neva dun it before!

they r fantastic to drive good fun. But the job can take over ur life.

what i mean is i drive a artic and all week car drivers r driving too bloody slow on motorways! Why? The roads r clear. Trucks r limited to 56mph and the reason they crawl past each other is due to when ur fully loaded, if u back off u loose a lot of speed and momentum. And every truck is slower or faster than each other on ther limiter. So its easyer to overtake. But u do get some prat who can not get past at all and just blocks up the middle lane

is there any zed owners that drive hgv's if so car drivers r a pain in the bum. As u will know!

lwb mate. But down by were the front seat belts r by the rear quarter ther r ecu.s there. Not sur what they r for.

cheers jeff i had a look at it last night and it said abs on it so i thought it was. But wat r all the ecu? They r every were?

dus any one haved any idea?

i noticed inthe back of me car when pulling it apart there r loads of ECU.s and a box with pipes coming out of it. It looks like something do with ABS? Any ideas. I want to take of the rear steer and if there is any crap i can take of like ECUs can i take them off?

i hav finally started stripping the zed. So i can rebuild it. I will post some pictures of my progress. All good
