  1. oooh, thanks mate... sure he wont mind me picture whoring LOL... thats it, I'm sold
  2. I'm well aware of the fact that the 300zx ain't a rally car, but I really like the deep dish Sparco/OMP steering wheels around. Like this: Just curious as to how a deep dish wheel looks in the cabin of a Z, had a look on tinternet but not really seen any :(
  3. I know lots of Zs don't really see the roads this time of year, and others are in daily use. But what are you doing to yours right now, what are you fitting next etc etc? Come on get typing  For me, tomorrow, I'll be taking the front bumper off and fitting my ARC intercoolers, fitting a splitter to the bumper before it goes back on, then fitting a few interior gadgets in the shape of an Apexi RSM and SAFC
  4. If you can wait a day you'll see what an early laguna one looks like on a Z ;)
  5. My boot lock doesn't work either. I keep a screwdriver in the footwell and jam it under the handle when I want to open the boot LOL
  6. You'll not look back once you've bought an SLR Si  I have a Nikon D50 and some of the pictures I've had out of it are incredible (but you need to have the knack) :tt2:
  7. gotta agree with Yassa if I'm honest. :euro: My mate bought some Inovit (Inoshit) wheels for his car, within 2 MONTHS the diamond cut rim was showing signs of water under the lacquer (no kerb marks at all) and within 6 months there was no diamond cutness in sight! terrible, but not sure if they have rectified that problem with their wheels yet. They just don't seem to have the appeal and awesomeness of the Japanese aftermarket wheels.
  8. Nah mate its just suggesting that typical 'universal' splitters are on ebay most of the time - i.e. Leon Cupra R, Laguna, Megane etc... The one Weazel posted would do the job! Nice and flat fitting to the underside of the Z bumper
  9. ^^ haha thats great! There was someone on driftworks that was selling a reliant kitten and a bike engine (think R1?) and that was cheap as chips - about £800 iirc, not sure if its still for sale or not though.
  10. Happy Birthday! have a good 'un
  11. fitted a leon one to my GTR, was absolutely the perfect size. They are quite curved though in comparison to that Z. Mine cost me £19 something
  12. might need a crowbar near by though, I had to move the bottom arm around to release the strut, but it was just on axle stands on a gravel driveway, not the best situation really.. :tt2:
  13. yeah, district 9. thought it was a documentary?
  14. haha, they are pretty pokey too, 3.2 V6. Good work Stu
  15. you'll manage fine Daz, I changed my front ones the other week and it took under an hour and all self-explanatory when you study the bolts holding it on etc. :)
  16. seen any fuccchhhing prawns yet?
  17. guessing its an NA lol :tt2:
  18. You'd still need it signing off by a registered electrician, looks like your board is pretty old anyway :tt2:
  19. I should imagine it would look like a moustache.
  20. steel ones are heavier, but less prone to warp discs. Alloy are lighter but more likely to warping iirc.
  21. That aussie one looks great, but I don't like the huge grille either I'm afraid. Looks a bit LWB in the first few pics, I was beginning to think the left hand side was stoved in lol. :detective:
  22. so in a nutshell, you can hear it (reasonably quietly) but you risk damaging the turbos? My GTi-R used to do it and I played on it alot because I liked the noise lol. :tt2:
  23. Looks terrible Daz. Give me your car lol ;) only joking, looks great!
  24. Looks good Mark, what plans do you have for it? was a bit of a bargain ;)
