1. Few more:
2. I still have the Z lol... Circumstances have changed a bit and I no longer really need a daily car, so the beemer has gone and here is the replacement. I was after a 4x4 to convert into a decent off roader for a bit of fun. The fact I worked for Jeep for 10 years kind of swayed me a little, so I went and got a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 Limited. Its got an LPG conversion and is absolutely rammed full of decent standard equipment - Infinity Gold stereo system, memory seats mirrors and stereo, electric heated seats, climate control, electric everything, tints, twin electric towbar... all for £600. The Jeep has spent the last 6 months doing 8000 miles around Europe without missing a beat, which is good enough proof that it is a trusty motor. I may be a little biased but I really like it, great to drive, smooth, comfy etc. I have already done a bit of work to it and fitted some bits I had. Ok, so you may think its a little boring now... but I've got some 15" weller wheels on the way with 31" tyres (big) and in the process of ordering a lift kit, either 3.5" or 4.5". Will post some pictures as it progresses, but this is the sort of thing I'm aiming for:-
3. might be worth posting in the wanted section Dan. I have a UK model too and had the same problem, but I fitted one from an import which was in almost perfect condition.
4. I've got one from a mk1 fiesta on mine. Relocated so better flow to the intercooler.
5. I've just bought a 4 litre Jeep Grand Cherokee the other day and am over the moon with it. Its got an LPG conversion and that makes it about the same to run as a small petrol car. Cost me £600 which was a frickin' bargain.
6. I guess the next question is what is your address? Clifford Cat 1 Alarm/Immobiliser for me.
7. Thanks mate yeah thats really useful, I'm quite often up that way so I'll be using the service station when I'm over there. I think the only one in Lincoln that does it is Shell.
8. The car came from cambridge, so probably not lol :tt2:
9. thanks guys... my mates on holiday at the mo so he'll be the last to see it lol.
10. Thanks guys - maybe them lights are the off a level switch after all. Thats a good indication. I stuck £30 of gas in and drove 100 miles, but I haven't got a clue whether I'm supposed to still have loads left or what lol. No Ian still got the 3 litre 300zx, just changed the daily car to a 4 litre jeep with lpg lol.
11. I forgot no-one has a sense of humour on this forum.
12. How do you know how much gas you have left in an LPG converted car? I'm guessing they don't have a gauge? can you retro-fit one? On my switch where you can choose between gas and petrol there are 3 green leds, but only 2 were on earlier. Any ideas what that means??! I'm a complete newb and any help would be appreciated thank you! :helpsmilie:
13. have you got any pics of your best finds? I think the best things my dad finds are along the lines of silver roman coins, a few celtic ones, he also has a hawkeye for finding flint arrowheads (obviously without the metal detector lol)
14. if you don't laugh then you cry... ;) glad someone appreciates it LOL :thumbup1:
15. I'll soon be taking up off-roading, I'm spending loads of money at the mo even though I've not been yet lol. Photography is a big one for me, that also brings me onto another hobby which is urbexing. My dad has been metal detecting for years - I've asked him probably 10 times over the last 6 months when is he taking me, but he always seems to forget. I really want to go as I also like old stuff, and he has found over 100 roman coins within a mile of the house and I want some :(
16. Wow Martin they are fantastic!! Let us know how much you get for them!!
17. As some of you may know I've recently bought a Jeep to rival my mate's Land Rover and we are going to use them for some off road fun. So thought I'd make another video using http://www.xtranormal.com  Theres a few private jokes and references in there but you get the idea lol. If you aren't a fan of swearing then you probably best not watch it LOL :innocent:
18. Theres one that parks up a couple of miles from my house.... 'this one' gets people heading towards the back of the van. Not me though, I don't speed
19. I didn't realise you could retro-fit them, hope your seat doesn't catch fire LOL :tt2:
20. I'm after a HUGE favour, someone in Penzance has some wheels that I am absolutely desperate for, but the place is nearly 400 miles from me! So is anyone local able to collect the wheels and I can send a courier down to pick them up? The seller wont allow it for some reason. I will pay direct for the wheels and can pay any helpful member a bit for their assistance. Pretty please :w00t: thanks in advance :surrender:
21. where did you get your bonnet lifters from Rob? I walk past the Z on my drive every day but thats about it at the mo. It'll probably sit there until next year now, but its ok as I'm getting a winter vehicle laterz lol
22. Happy birthday metro boy
23. Aww thanks guys
24. I just noticed that on another thread  6 years? thats more than you get for murder
