  1. I hate UK bumpers too... oddly I think it all kind of went well together before with the 4 pot lights, uk bumper and lip spoiler. Still not sure about the wheels. was gonna put a poll up. lol :red_indian:
  2. Everyone sees it and immediately thinks ASBO can, ok it makes some noise but it isnt particularly loud, but the noise is incredible, I'm not so obsessed with kakimotos now.
  3. I know it would... 6" exit lol, system is only about a year old!
  4. welcome along mate, nice zed! sell me your cage :thumbup1: my mate owns the original Do-Luck Aristo :thumbup1:
  5. Glad you've found the issue mark, good old zedworld eh :thumbup1:
  6. So my new Z came with these 4 pot rear lights: Which had been blended in, a very good job but unfortunately I prefer the look of the standard lights. They'd been stuck on with this fillery type stuff and were a pain in the arse to remove! not to mention they were holding an awful lot of water with nowhere to go! Once removed I cleaned up all the pesky filler, painted the bits where it was down to bare metal then fitted my '99 style lights, which I feel look loads better. But now I cant decide if it looks weird without a spoiler or not? What do you think? Might be time to blow the dust off the dspeed spoiler I have and get it fitted to my spare tailgate! :cool2: fitting my JDM rear bumper too so might look ok with the lip spoiler after that?

I've got a meal to go to for emma's mum's 50th this sunday, or we'd be there
  8. scared of a bit of water are we? chicken shit :tt2:
  9. Its only been there since 1997 :slap: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://homepage.ntlworld.com/rideguideuk/_borders/Ripsaw.jpg&imgrefurl=http://homepage.ntlworld.com/rideguideuk/ripsaw.htm&usg=__CdmThEBRH0bUu_-mpdG3nZQwwNo=&h=400&w=266&sz=53&hl=en&start=4&zoom=1&itbs=1&tbnid=nuKe0YoGmLMThM:&tbnh=124&tbnw=82&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dripsaw%2Balton%2Btowers%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1345%26bih%3D594%26gbv%3D2%26tbm%3Disch&ei=kDgKTo3xIIWt8gPCqLGjAQ
  10. you not got VD anymore?
  11. If you was closer craig I'd gladly help out :scooter:
  12. No more drivers door glasses I'm afraid! got a passenger side uk and a pair of import ones.
  13. let me know if you decide to get rid of the ducts... maybe they'll go better with an earlier type bumper?
  14. I know its gonna need some work to remove it... but its gotta go! :whistling: Theres a tiny bit of rust around the edge of where the light is so the rear was going to get sorted and painted anyway. @Daz - your use of a smiley suggests you were taking the piss lol... wouldn't heating it up upset the panel/paint or literally just heat up the sealant (I have no idea ) its these lights btw
  15. Had a look at removing my rear lights today, its got the 4-pot light conversion which has been well fitted, but unfortunately I really dont like it. When I say well fitted I mean its all blended into the body - I had a look from behind and its got yellowy-greeny stuff that it seems to be held in with, as you can see where the excess bits have started to drip out. Can someone tell me what it is and whats the best way to remove it? Its solidified and pretty tough getting through with a knife. I'd rather not knacker the light panel as I'd be wanting to sell it on when I've fitted my new lights.
  16. yep as the uk model has headlamp wash controlled from the same bottle too but the import doesnt have headlamp wash.
  17. Well for me anyway! My drivers window glass had a big scratch all the way down, fortunately for me I had an O/S UK spec drop glass 'in stock' :whistling: I've removed a couple of window regulators/motors/glasses from breakers before but thats easy just undoing things until they fall out, its different when you have to rebuild it lol. I've always feared the day I've have to change one myself. Got the door card off in about 2 mins (well trained at that) but to my suprise, 20 mins later I'd got the new glass in place and tested and door card back on! :cool3: It was one of those jobs that made me proud that I'd achieved it and not scared of them anymore! just thought I'd share that :1eye:
  18. I thought a zed geek like you'd have known that :detective: But then again, I guess you've moved on to an SWB specialist now, not the limo versions lol :tooth:
  19. do you not know anyone in the motor trade that can do you a cash job on the side? sorry to hear you're having problems :(
  20. just noticed you got rid of the standard washer bottle
  21. Very nice Paul, I got some ARCs for mine last year and they are one of the best mods I have done, instantly noticable increase once you've got better flow in and out. :thumbup1: Could I ask a huge favour, are you able to take a few pics of the ducts for me? If I know what the proper ARC ones look like it'll help me get some made up :)
  22. Really sorry to hear it Chris, I can relate to the feeling too :( I bet the sister really feels the pain too, thats what happened when we lost one of two cats that were close to each other. RIP
  23. drivers side in front of front wheel, I guess remove the front half of the arch liner, as said they'll probably be clogged up.
