  11. Trying to find insurance for my girlfriends VW Polo, its nothing special just a 1.4 worth £1000, she is 23, no claims or accidents etc and all the quotes are coming back £500+! Call me old fashioned, but I was expecting more like £300-odd or £400 at a push. Can anyone recommend a decent insurer as all these compare the annoying adverts, confused.shite and moneystupidmarket are robbing pigs. I refuse to believe we cant find it cheaper, or am I wrong?

  24. Last time I overheard someone talking about my Z was when I had the multicoloured red one with shitty 17" work equips and tbh it didnt look too great. three young lads rode past and I heard one say "that looks shit" :2guns::laugh: anyway today I pulled up at some lights in town, and to my left were a few guys on those mountain bikes with no seats, they were early 20s. When I cottoned on to what they were saying, the first thing I heard was "they're all autos aren't they?" and his mate replied "no, but they are like rocking horse shit with manual boxes, especially the turbos!" the first lad then said "I've never seen a black one before, it looks f&%%£n awesome!" Was nice to hear comments like that, and I couldn't possibly let them think I had an NA auto, so I showed them what was what :whistling: would like to have heard what they said after! :sweatdrop::lol:
