  1. Down to area, distance from exchange and quality of the copper wire. But how can Sky offer 3mb versus 14mb on the very same line? Crooks thats why, I'm currently paying £49 a month for their TV and they offer 3mb!
  2. I'm with BeThere broadband and have been for a few years, they absolutely wipe the floor with anyone else I have tried. Never had an outage and solid download speeds even at peak times. You pay a bit more per month but they push your phone line to its absolute limit. Sky offered me 3mb MAX at my current address on their paid for service, I'm getting 14mb consistently with BeThere for £6.50 a month at the moment. Sky pings way too high for hosting an online game match.
  3. I'll be going so long as it aint hammering down
  4. Theres a guy round here driving around with those massive tyres on his Jeep and he looks like a cock lol PLEASE leave it as it is!
  5. One of the most farcical programmes on TV
  6. Neither, a complete tosser. Nothing genius about driving/riding like a cock
  7. I hope he wins and gets into the Uk team. Good luck to him!
  8. It looks lovely ill give you that
  9. Hmm I wouldn't pay that for one though! lol
  10. a) I did read the thread and all I seen was one-sided crying without taking to account any amount of different situations i.e maybe they were taking their lunch on the shop floor b) I work in the motor trade and I would suggest you buy one off me instead of that high horse you are currently sporting
  11. Haha it has been known that it was Ben Collins for years! Has anyone not used google? and youtube?
  12. He was ignored in a store, deal with it. Customers are all to quick to dismiss sales staff asking if help is needed with a sale because they feel they are being 'hounded' yet when they actually want help they expect it immediately. Maybe the two were doing something productive but talking at the same time - it is allowed you know.
  13. I like it, how much did you pay?
  14. Maybe it will be a silly Biography depicting the stig as a 'thing' if you get what I mean
  15. Sales assistants would be more friendly if they wern't treated like robots by people jumping on their high horse if they are not served within 30seconds. I'm glad the sheep comment was only in jest because believe me you don't wanna lose an England vs Wales arguement with me lol. I must say though, £395 for a 32" TV (Phillips especially - very average product) seems very over the top price wise. Now that you have cancelled the order have you looked around more? You can get a 50" Plasma for £479 if you look hard enough.
  16. Now now, dont play the race card Seriously though, none of you seem to know what its like to work in retail sometimes - maybe they were having a bad day or just picked up a shitty paycheck after working 50+ hours a week for the last month. Don't put all sales assistants into the same category (i.e 'Bloody shop assistants'). The internet is killing direct sales jobs money wise as there is no commission to be earned anymore. Its not their fault you couldn't be bothered to go into the store and have a look / listen to advice. Having worked in that area for a long time before I know how hard it was to scrape a living and I bet its even worse now. If you bought in Currys or Comet you have been ripped off anyway so no need to give the staff grief too.
  17. I would have done the same and ignored you because a sale over the internet = no commission for the salesperson and yet still expected to haul the damn TV halfway accross the car park and get it in your boot. I used to hate doing that in one of my previous jobs and believe me the customer is NEVER right lol.
  18. Just dont buy a teg type r off WelshZ because it may be CAT D HAHAHA
