I would have bid again this time but I have sorted myself a Zee since.... He should have taken my original offer what do you guys think??? although no doubt he wont let that bidder have the car at that price after AGAIN listing an auction without reserve :laugh:

Following on from the flooding of my Zed (see here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?165739-The-end-of-my-Zed) I pretty much began my search for another with the idea being to buy a cheap one that I can build up again. I found one on ebay which didn't work out (no hard feelings ;) ) so had to temporarily abandon my search... However, after 7 gash gargling hours on trains and a 4 hour drive home I am now a (non flooded) Z owner again. Albeit a tired one... Yes he did buy the Slicktop and he DID bring it to its new home in Wales :D I had to sell my Range Rover and Defender to do it but got there in the end! Many thanks to Quavey for his patience, co-operation and for ****ing off that german guy that wanted to buy it!

He didn't want to sell it to me for £1220 which is the sum I won it for fairly on ebay. If he had put a reserve on it, it wouldn't have sold for that and I wouldn't have ended up leaving him bad feedback. I wasn't going to do this as a fellow club member - but after seeing him trying to sell it again (on ebay with no reserve) after telling me the reason he wouldn't sell to me was because he worked out a way to keep it....why should I not? Really am fed up with ebay messers like him and the THREE separate people I sold my explorer to on there...so doing my bit to rid ebay of them bit by bit!

If you are doing it outside of ebay, get him to send you a cheque and wait before it clears. If you do it with paypal he can raise a case and get his money back. I would not do it personally.

One observation is that the tosser that sold it on ebay to me only to refuse to sell it on the grounds that he worked out a way to keep it (obviously a lie) is now using a garage to sell it for him. If i'm sounding bitter then its because I am, people like him should be banned from ebay for life for wasting people's time.

Agreed there are some truly shocking cars in that list! Buicks and Ford Taurus higher than a Lotus Evora? = LOL Plus its obvious the R35 should be at No 1 as it is a masterpiece of engineering.

90% of ebay are timewasting tossers. I've sold my Ford Explorer twice on ebay now and both never turned up to even look at the car, let alone colect it! Plus I won a Zed on there earlier on in the month only for the seller to decide that he wasn't going to sell for that amount as it was 'too low'. He is lucky he is a member on here otherwise I would have left him stinking feedback and I would have been well within my right to do so!
